Besides being a pleasure to write with, the pen will balance on the clip when laid sideways. This gives it the appearance that it is levitating slightly, which is a cool effect. Plus you can spin the pen with ease when it is balanced on the clip. Good luck finding people nerdy enough to play "spin the pen" with you. Perhaps if you try the line "This pen is just like you, girl: Extra Fine."

I love the color of this pen! This is my first fountain pen from Lamy and it is excellent.
The point is extra fine and it does not ruin my pattern of having small handwriting. I am definitely going to order more Safari pens from Lamy.

This pen is a joy to write with. I totally love it. It feels good in the hand, the ink flows beautifully, and it is a great match with my small handwriting. And, the color totally rocks. Makes me smile each time I see it and use it! Get this, you know you need it! :)

This was my first fountain pen, and I've got to say: I love it. The extra-fine nib is great for me, since I'm left-handed. I've used pens with medium nibs, and I smudge the ink. The extra fine nib dispenses little enough ink that it still writes clearly and smoothly, but I don't smudge the ink. The lime green is exactly as bright as you are probably imagining, but the design is still comfortable and modern.

The pen writes neatly and smoothly, and the nib isn't scratchy at all. The extra-fine nib dispenses little enough ink that it doesn't bleed through normal note paper or sketchbook paper, which is a bonus for me.

Overall, a great pen. Order with the Lamy converter and use basically any ink you could ever want (I currently use mine with J. Herbin's orange indien).
