The rule is fairly small, which is nice for people with small handwriting who like to fit a lot on one page. The paper has a slightly waxy feel to it but is really smooth to write on, whether you use a gel or fountain pen, but if you use a very wet fountain pen it might start to bleed or feather a tiny bit. I just wish the holes were more of a standard sized circle so that I could add other paper without having to buy the hole punch.

The paper is lovely to write on, smooth and thick. I use it with my fountain pens and there's zero bleed through or feathering.

I'm docking it a star for two reasons:

1) The holes don't line up with other binders. They're cut weird, so they only work with the Aqua Drops notebooks.

2) Because it's meant only for the Aqua Drops notebooks, Lihit Lab includes instructions on every single page, top and bottom, for how to open the notebook. How cluttered it makes the page look is a little annoying, but not earth-shattering.

Other than that, it's nice paper, like so much of the paper from Japan is.
