It's adorable and tiny and...flimsy. But I actually appreciate that it's so thin and insubstantial because I wanted something flexible and lightweight to stow in my very small camera case; this is ideal for me to jot down settings I used to achieve a shot. Due to the highly affordable price, I don't tend to 'baby' this like I do pricier notebooks. The paper is overall smooth (I usually use a Slicci .25 with this) but the paper weight is very thin so forget about using heavier inks. The cover is actually not as cheapola as I'd was anticipating. I'll definitely repurchase. But I'd skip this for everyday use if you're hard on your notepads or hate bleed through.

I purchased all three colors of this notepad. The incredibly smooth paper is a delight to write on, and I find myself drawing on each page rather than jotting down notes simply because it's such a joy to use markers on. I highly recommend all the high-quality m.memo notebooks. They are impressive and fun to use.

I love Maruman paper....

I love Maruman paper. They are some of the best paper money can buy. I use to get my relatives to send me these when they go to the far east. Glad to see that Jet pens carries these. They aren't like the thin tissue paper that Mead note books try to pass as paper. No these are real paper. The Japanese make some of the smoothest high quality paper in the world. Those like me that have lived in the Far East know this as a fact. Once you try it you will see what everyone is raving about.
