YEA BABY! Great paper....,

YEA BABY! Great paper. Nicely printed grid -- very clean and not too dark.
Paper is heavy enough to take markers, brush pens, and juicy fountain pens.
Smooth enough for even XF fountain pens and the finest technical pens. Just
enough tooth to work well with pencils. The perforations are well done, and
don't leave a jagged line. The back cover is stiff enough to provide good
surface when away from the desk. The top cover is water resistant. That ugly
little sticker on the front comes off easily and leaves nothing behind.

I was disappointed that the grid is printed on only one side of the paper. None
of the pictures or product description specify that the pages are only
one-sided.

The Maruman Mnemosyne notebooks have great paper, and the graph is great for
technical documents. The notebooks work with pens, fountain pens and pens.
There is a little bleeding with copic sketch makers, which is to be expected.
I only use this paper since finding these notebooks.

(Amazing notebooks. Perfect tiny squares, soft smooth paper, clean-rip
perforation. I could not ask for a better notebook!)

The quality of the paper is very good and it takes fine pencil, fountain pend,
brush, and pen and ink very well. There is neither bleeding nor feathering. It
is quite sturdy, oddly elegant, and pleasant to the eye.

Maruman Mnemosyne Imagination Notebook - A4 (8.3" X 11.7") - 5 mm X 5 mm Graph - 70 Sheets
This is an amazing notebook. The paper is smooth, especially when writing with
gel ink pens. The grid boxes are tiny, which is wonderful if you have small
handwriting so you're not wasting half the height of the line. It's great for
those who don't take notes in just sentences (for example: if you include
pictures, diagrams, flow-charts, graphs, tables, etc) because the lines help to
visually space everything out evenly and neatly. The perforated edge is perfect
- it doesn't rip if you don't intend for it to, but if you do start tearing it
it comes off cleanly (without any of that annoying
tearing-into-the-page-3cm-from-the-end junk).
Be aware that the grids are only on ONE side! The other side is blank. I like
it, because it means I don't have to write on gridded sheets if I don't want to
(for example, if I'm drawing a big diagram that doesn't require or benefit from
gridlines), but it might annoy you if you expect this notebook to provide
double-sided grid-ness.

Maruman Mnemosyne Inspiration Notebook - A5 (5.8" X 8.3") - 5 mm X 5 mm Graph - 70 Sheets
Love this notebook!!!!
Its worth every penny. Perfect size to carry in a purse or front pocket of a
backpack.
Be aware, the graph is NOT on both sides of the page, the back of every page is
blank! That is not in any descriptions or pictures I see here. This means its
really only 70 usable pages of graph paper and 70 blank pages. I was upset at
first, now I don't mind the blanks!

Maruman Mnemosyne Inspiration Notebook - A5 (5.8" X 8.3") - 5 mm X 5 mm Graph - 70 Sheets - Bundle of 3
I love these notebooks! Not only the layout, but also the fact that the back
side of each page is blank (which actually disappointed me at first, but then I
grew to appreciate it, because it facilitates more freeform use).
I write in mine with both pencil (generally a 3B Hi-Uni) and also a few
different very fine-nibbed fountain pens (typically with Iroshizuku inks) and
find they both work just great on the smooth finish of the paper Maruman uses
here.
A couple nice touches are the classy but understated front cover, which makes
this notebook look perfectly at home in a conference room, and the nice sturdy
cardboard back cover, which offers plenty of support even when you have to take
notes while standing.
