DescriptionSpecifications
Measures 6.25 x 8.25 inches and contains 70 blank A5 size (5.8 × 8.25 inches) micro perforated sheets. Ideal for sketching and jotting down inspiration on the go. Each page has a space on the top line for “Title/No” and features a small gray arrow in the middle of the top to signify the midpoint of the page. Pages are acid-free so they won't yellow over time.

The way a paper interacts with a specific ink is as unique as a snowflake. Fountain pen users will prefer paper that produces the perfect inkblot levels, paper that absorbs too much ink would not be good. On the other hand, a ballpoint pen user might seek a paper that allows their pen to guide more smoothly across the page. Japanese paper manufacturers pay attention to these preferences by tweaking numerical values ever so slightly during the manufacturing process to create the perfect page for their customers. In the spectrum of different paper offerings from Japan, you will find different characteristics covering everything from line width, page layout to paper quality. We hope you find the right fit for you at JetPens.

These new Mnemosyne notebooks are an “it” product in Japan. They are perfectly designed with the professional in mind and are great for drawing down inspiration and ideas. Everyone from a college student to a working professional will find this notebook useful and particularly well-designed. Named after the Greek goddess for memory, each Mnemosyne notebook features a sturdy cover and is firmly bound with a dual ring system. Notice the manufacturer's detail in subtracting one ring from each side of the notebook binding. This allows you to place your finger to guide tears in the perforation to make sure sheets are detached cleanly.

A variety of different sizes and sheet types are available.

I love these little notebooks. The paper takes all sorts of pens and pencils, and most don't bleed through. They have a great feel and are very handy for traveling about.

This is the most amazing paper I have ever seen! it does not produce feathering with inks. I also do a little ink painting as a backdrop to sketching. The paper has a matt finish, but is amazingly smooth. It does not make the ink clump away from the paper in the way a shiny smooth paper would do. The ink smears very nicely without adding a rough texture look. I make sharp crisp drawings and then add smooth brush strokes in a lighter tone to make old world style sketches. This paper has me hooked.

This notebook has really nice general purpose drawing paper. It has worked well with everything I've tried, including several different inks, fine mechanical pencils, brushes... The paper doesn't buckle when used with wet inks. It doesn't bleed. It shows streaking and shading with a Pentel pocket brush pen if your stroke is fast enough. In short, it gets out of your way and lets you work.

Love this notebook, it's one of the best I've owned. The paper is smooth and a dream to draw on, though some inks do take a bit longer to dry. The spiral binding is great because you don't have to fight with the book to lay flat or stay open. I'll probably be purchasing the larger size soon.
