The Maruman Mnemosyne...

The Maruman Mnemosyne notepad is the most useful I've ever had. It fits easily in a shirt pocket. When I carry it in a hip pocket, I can sit on it without damage. I write on both sides of the paper. With both covers folded back-to-back, it is stiff enough to write on. I am grateful that JetPens carry it as my earlier supplier is going out of business.

I do like the product, but I wish the to-do lists were on both the front and back of the pages. I can certainly use the back of the pages for other kinds of notes, but it would have made the notebook a much better buy for the price.

I also want to compliment JetPens on their customer service. My pad arrived damaged (about half of the pages were bent, crushed, and dirty along the bottom edge); I could have still used the pad, but it was very disappointed not to receive one that was in pristine condition at the outset, considering the price). I contacted JetPens and made them aware of the problem, and they kindly and quickly sent out a replacement for the pad. This is why I continue to use JetPens above any other online retailer for pens, pen cases, paper, etc. They are utterly dependable and committed to their business.

I was hoping that this notepad would have the same hard cardboard backing as many of the other Mnemosyne notebooks do. Unfortunately for me, it does not - it has the black floppy cover on both front and back (you can see it in the pictures, but I guess I didn't pay enough attention). However, it still has the great Mnemosyne quality smooth paper, clean perforation, and top-notch quality ring binding that rarely, if ever, bends out of place. I glued a piece of cardboard that I cut from a different Mnemosyne notebook (which I had already used up) to the back cover, and now it is completely acceptable (though a little unsightly).

The two things I loved about this was the size and flexibility. The plastic front and rear cover, along with the pages are so soft. I've always hated the look of a crinkled field notes notebook. With this, I can (and have) placed it in my rear pants pocket and jackets breast pocket without even noticing. The format of the pages is exactly what I wanted in a to-do pad. Thanks JetPens for carrying this product.

This to-do memopad is amazing. It's long enough to flush out a full weekly to do list, the paper quality is amazing, it's totally flexible and can fit in all normal sized pockets!
