I love these little notebooks. They are pretty flexible and the cover material is really neat. My only complaint is that the perforated pages start to fall out with heavy use. I've never had them fall completely out, but just start to tear a bit. I also love them because they are smaller than many other pocket notebooks. It fits perfectly in the pocket of my apron!

These notebooks by Metaphys are fabulotastic. They hold together very well, and wear in a nice-looking manner. The grid lined paper is nicely colored, takes ink very well and the grid lines are not distracting. I only wish Jetpens would get ahold of Metaphys other-sized memo pads, there are some seriously cool ones!

Nice little notebook. Linen cover feels great in the hand. Flips easily, pages come out readily, but not when you don't want that. Paper high quality.

Very nice, small and compact with the cover having a cloth like texture. My only complaint is that once you keep using it, the cover tends to stay up. It would have been perfect if the memo pad had a black elastic band to close it with. My solution now is using a medium sized binder clip to hold it closed.

The paper is off-white smooth and I really like the discreet quad ruling. The glue binding is of good quality; the paper tears out easily without mess.

However, this paper is not suited for use with fountain pens. The ink will bleed through. You can get away with using a fountain pen if you plan on only using one side of the paper. Only one side is quad-ruled; the other side is blank. The paper is best suited for pencil, ballpoint or gel pens. At this price-point for a 70-small-sheet memo pad, better overall quality and versatility is expected.

Excellent quality paper similar to color laser paper. Nice, barely visible grid lines for even line writing. Each page tears very well. I use this paper to write notes and place in the wallet since the paper holds up similar to a dollar bill, I can always locate it with ease. Seems like a hefty price but the quality beats any post-it.
