Pack of six colored circular index tabs, 25 sheets each

Anyone who was ever seen how beautifully the Japanese wrap their gift packages knows how much they appreciate product appearance. Crooked stickers would just drive your salary man crazy. Rectangular shaped index stickers are difficult to align with paper, but you can affix a round shape even when it's slightly misaligned and it still looks beautiful. The rounded design also eliminates wear and tear on index tab corners. The circular index tabs come in a re-foldable case and feature subtle color gradations so you can indicate the level or stage of a project by degree of priority or progress.

Case dimensions: 6.7 inch (171 mm) width X 1.2 inch (31 mm) height X 0.09 inch (2.5 mm) depth

Here's why I love these: 1)...

Here's why I love these:

1) they are by far the most compact and pocketable way to carry sticky index tabs. The usual way either requires specialized holders that are too big/expensive to sell with every set of tabs, or they are the disposable dispensers (like the postit flags). This takes up no more space than that other pencil case staple, the 15cm/6-inch ruler :-) Plus, the backing folds around the tabs to protect them from curling up etc, then slides into a simple flexible plastic sleeve (look at the pics). Neat, tidy, no fuss, no frills.

2) The rounded shape works exactly as advertised. It wasn't the main draw for me like the compactness was, but it's appreciated - the pretty's always nice :-) In the same vein, it's great that they're in gradations of the same color except for one. It does exactly the job it needs to do for color-coding, but without having eleventy six different brights that end up all meshing together and defeating the purpose :-)

A note on price: this might seem a bit steep, especially as the simplicity and neatness of the design can make the product look rather underwhelming when you receive it.
Aside from the fact that this is the kind of thing that shows its quality over time as you get ot use it, it's not that expensive when you consider you get a cool 150 flags, plus a well-designed carrying case.

Only gripe: I would make them a tad stickier. That may be a matter of personal taste though; I use them on heavy, matte paper a lot (it's almost cardstock really), maybe thinner, glossier papers would suffer if these were stickier.

Wonderfully simple idea that works very well. The different colors are a nice touch to have different emphasis for textbook/notebook pages that are important. I use a fine tip sharpie to write notes on them and these hold that type of ink very well. Other types of ink wash off, but this is not surprising, given the material of these stickies.

The only gripe I have is I often pull two stickies off, instead of one. However, I see even this as a boon, since it means that these are very thin, meaning there are lots of them per color stack. When I eventually run out of these, I will definitely reorder them.

These are a clever design - round instead of square, so they always look neat and straight. And, they are made of high-quality materials - bright, opaque plastic film instead of paper. Otherwise they are pretty ordinary page markers, at a premium price.

Looking forward to using these. Especially if you are compulsive about lining up tabs. Packaging is lovely.

I consider these too good for office use but I love to use them to tab pages I read in magazines. The shape really does offer the benefits advertised, and though it's a bit pricey, it's a good quality product!
