Here's why I love these:
1) they are by far the most compact and pocketable way to carry sticky index
tabs. The usual way either requires specialized holders that are too
big/expensive to sell with every set of tabs, or they are the disposable
dispensers (like the postit flags). This takes up no more space than that other
pencil case staple, the 15cm/6-inch ruler :-) Plus, the backing folds around the
tabs to protect them from curling up etc, then slides into a simple flexible
plastic sleeve (look at the pics). Neat, tidy, no fuss, no frills.
2) The rounded shape works exactly as advertised. It wasn't the main draw for me
like the compactness was, but it's appreciated - the pretty's always nice :-) In
the same vein, it's great that they're in gradations of the same color except
for one. It does exactly the job it needs to do for color-coding, but without
having eleventy six different brights that end up all meshing together and
defeating the purpose :-)
A note on price: this might seem a bit steep, especially as the simplicity and
neatness of the design can make the product look rather underwhelming when you
receive it.
Aside from the fact that this is the kind of thing that shows its quality over
time as you get ot use it, it's not that expensive when you consider you get a
cool 150 flags, plus a well-designed carrying case.
Only gripe: I would make them a tad stickier. That may be a matter of personal
taste though; I use them on heavy, matte paper a lot (it's almost cardstock
really), maybe thinner, glossier papers would suffer if these were stickier.
