The only thing this eraser is got for it is it's design and looks...other than that it has mediocre erasing ability and if you erase to fast with a little too much pressure one ring by itself will tear off...and that is probably the only way to erase with this thing since lite erasing doesn't seem to favor the material this thing is made of. I suggest you spend this money on a Kokuyo which is actually has fantastic erasing ability and has a great design.

Terrible eraser. Save yourself the dough and get them cheap white erasers that come in blocks at your local national chain retailer. When erasing it clumps together and peels away the eraser. It's not a clean erase either...I had to really rub to get any of my markings off.

As a professional designer and illustrator, I am addicted to art supplies, and have use many many different types of erasers, this is by far one of the best kind - the spiral shape does what it claims and makes erasing between ruled lines very easy. Though I wouldn't recommend it for large areas or brusque use, it is an elegant solution.

50-50. It erases well, but the sides sometimes get cut off. Need good care.

First off, it just looks so awesome! People always ask me what it is, and then do not believe me when I tell them it is an eraser. Who ever came-up with the screw idea is a genius, it erases only what I want it to, nothing more, nothing less. The only two minor problems that I have with it are: (1) it gets dirty really easily and is hard to clean without rubbing off parts, and (2) it rolls everywhere, I have to be careful where I place it so that I do not loose it. But, in conclusion, this eraser has by far the best design!
