Cover is kind of metallic brown, it does fit in my wallet. The paper is very thin, like very strong tissue paper. I tested it using .3mm pen/pencil and it held up really well. When you write it does leave an imprint of what you wrote on the pages below. And since the tissue paper is so light, it can get a little bit of static charge and stick to other pages making it hard to stick back in wallet and tear off just one sheet. Cute little memo book.
