  I bought this pencil..., February 5, 2011
I bought this pencil case and I LOVE it!
I have 5 pilot spotliter 2 highlighters,
1 Uni-ball Kuru Toga High Grade Auto Lead Rotation .5mm pencil.
8 HI-TEC-C pens,
1 Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto 5 color multi pen,
2 erasers,
1 liquid white out,
1 correction tape,
1 container of .5mm lead,
1 mini moleskin notebook,
5 post-it page markers,
1 mini container of purell,
1 burt's bees lip balm,
1 6" ruler,
school I.D.,
and a little pack of reinforcers,
and i STILL have more room! But not only is it very big, but it holds up very nicely. I would recommend this pencil case to anyone!

its a great pwncil caseit..., August 30, 2011
its a great pwncil caseit can hold everything that my old one could
it can hold 6 pencils or pens in the front pocket a little pocket for an eraser and pencil lead, the bottom can hold a pair of scisors post it notes and about 15 pens in the back pocket,

But if you want a pencil case that can hold more i reccomend the Nomadic PE-09 Flap type pencil case
it can hold around 40 pens and pencils and a bunch of erasers, post it's etc.

But overall the pe-08 is one of the best pencil cases out there

Best Pencil Case

It will hold all your writing instruments and more. I like that it has separate compartments and a large capacity. I would purchase this if you have a lot of pens and highlighters.

Really good pencil case! Been using this since the beginning of senior year in highschool (now going into my 2nd semester of college). It holds up really well, i haven't seen any signs of wear. Can hold a lot of items too. Overall I highly reccomend it.

Great case for school...., September 18, 2012
Great case for school. As a mathematician, I can easily fit all my needs into this handy case.

Calculator (TI 89)
Kuru toga pencil
Tombow Zoom
sharbo x
pentel knock eraser
staedler white eraser
ruler
USB

This has definitely saved me many times when looking for stuff. Highly recommended!
This pencil case practically..., August 9, 2012
This pencil case practically holds all of my pens and pencils! Sadly, my growing collection of pens and pencils has taken up all of the space in this wonderful pencil case...

This pencil case has many pockets and secret compartments to put in your stationery. I even put my post-it notes and little tabs in the small pocket!

This is a must-get for stationery and organizer fans!

Simply Fantastic.

I use this to keep my pencil and ink supplies in, and everything fits without putting strain on the material.
Lots of storage space. Sturdy material, both outside and in. The inner pockets are also well organized, keeping
everything snug and secure. Five stars for sure! Love the color too!
I bought this not for..., April 11, 2012
I bought this not for pens/pencils, but for needlework tools, including those for embroidery, crochet, knitting, and even a bone folder for origami. It holds a staggering array of crochet hooks (but not knitting needles), measuring devices, scissors, stitch markers, gauges, pom-pom makers, stitch holders, cable needles (used to temporarily shift some stitches out of the way while making the part where the cables cross), row counters, chibi full of yarn needles, and so much more, in three different zippered compartments, two of which have pockets for further organization. Nicely padded, this is an incredible, versatile piece.

I normally prefer my needlework tool holders to be handmade (by me, if possible) and very ornamental. However, this piece is simply too well designed. I never have to stop and swith out my essentials, depending upon what I am doing. I am seriously thinking of buying a second one for use with other tools. It is very well designed, and from a practical point of view, rises head and shoulders above the fancy leather ones.

  The square cross-section..., April 4, 2012
This review is from Nomadic PE-08 Easy Classification Pencil Case - Yellow
The square cross-section provides maximum volume with minimum apparent size. The main compartment opens up and forward, keeping the footprint small, forming a stable V-shaped holder, where you can see much of the items. The vivid yellowish orange color outside and strong orange color inside makes it unusual, lively, and fun. In contrast, a simple, low-height, tray-shaped case was faster to load and retrieve items from, but was boring, and had a bigger footprint. A small footprint is ergonomic, for dividing table space among laptop, binder, book, and papers.

In contrast, the PE-07 has a tall rectangular cross-section, so you have to dig way down to fish-out items at the bottom, and it looks unstable, falling over, forming a bigger footprint. With this PE-08, you never have to dig down very far. The PE-09 flap-type case is ridiculously big, so it is more of a niche, specialized case for carrying around a large collection of items -- and lacks elegant symmetry. The 07 and 09 pouch- or purse-shaped cases look like they tend to lie down, forming a bigger footprint, with the opening aimed horizontally rather than angled toward you, thus spilling rather than holding the contents presenting them toward you.

The PE-08 genuinely solved the problem of tangled items in the bottom of my deep, dark backpack pockets: it protects small, delicate items, and I'm no longer digging around my overloaded backpack, but now, my wonderful stationery items are presented to me brightly and invitingly.

I'm not embarrassed to put the PE-08 case on the table in the coffeehouse or library: it doesn't at all remind one of a purse; it doesn't look specifically masculine or feminine, but looks interesting and thus cool. Neither does it put your items too much on display like a stand-up shape or tray-box shape, and neither is it fiddly, ostentatious, or big-footprint like a roll-up case. It's a moderate yet worthwhile size; it doesn't hold so much as to raise the question of "Why do you need so much?" or hold so little as to ask "Why do you need a case at all; isn't that gratuitous and affected?" This right-sized case is small enough to be low-key, yet big enough to be intriguing: what fun and cool things are surely in that pencil case?

The other most-sensible model might be the compact PE-06, but it's not compartment-shaped or mouth/cup-shaped like the PE-08 main compartment, so it's not good for free-form holding the maximum number of items in a small space; it doesn't use its volume as efficiently, and it doesn't look quite as fun, except for the compactness. I'd like to see a compact version of the PE-08, with a similar pouch/mouth main compartment, rather than book-like with pen slots like the PE-06.

I had a really great time buying the red (orange inside) PE-08 for a friend and filling it with surprise gifts. She immediately said "I'll be able to find this red case in my luggage!" This tasteful and fun design is good for guys and girls, where the potential embarrassment or silliness of having a pencil case is overcome by the coolness of this design. This case really makes sense and is helpful and uplifting, just as many reviewers have reported. This model would make a great gift for anyone, for general use, especially if filled with some JetPens and college bookstore stationery items.

Like everyone else and..., September 24, 2011
This review is from Nomadic PE-08 Easy Classification Pencil Case - Yellow
Like everyone else and their mother, I absolutely looooooove this pencil bag. I am a pencil holder junkie who owns way too many zip-up pouches, pencil tins, snap-shut boxes for one person. This is the only bag that has survived my endless rotations. If this bag ever wears out (I'm sure it will fall prey to my handling at some point) I will certainly order another. Maybe even one other as a spare. It is that serious. It holds the usual stuff like drawing supplies in it, but also my keys, lip balm, mp3 player, mints, my cats, a left shoe, and god knows what else.

I love this bag. A lot. Join the rest of us and become a Nomadic Pencil Case follower. You know you want to.

This review is from Nomadic PE-08 Easy Classification Pencil Case - Red
I love this pencil case. Not only does it look cool, but it fits a lot, and is very sturdy.
Here is what I fit in the main compartment:
- 2 pilot foam erasers
- plenty of replacement mechanical pencil erasers
- 6 mechanical pencils
- 2 click erasers
- 4 pens
in the small pouch I have
- 2 things of mechanical pencil lead
and in the other pouch I have
- 5 pens
- pack of sticky tabs

So yeah, it fits enough to tote around for sketching on the go. With all this in it, it looks perfectly full, and still zips up with ease.
It really is great, and it is very easy to carry everywhere (which I do).

Best pencil case ever!..., March 23, 2012
This review is from Nomadic PE-08 Easy Classification Pencil Case - Light Gray
Best pencil case ever!

The inside is not as red as it seems in the info pictures. It's more of a true orange, just very vivid. The front and back panels are slightly cushioned as well as the middle panel. Nice touch.

This case holds a lot! In the large compartment I keep 8 gelly rolls, 6 pens, 2 highlighters, and there's room for I'd guess 6-10 more pens. In the front long compartment I keep my more frequently used pens. I keep 4 in there but you could fit 5 maybe 6 if the pens are small. In front of that, I keep two lip glosses which easily fit even with all my other pens in there. The tiny little compartment I keep a chapstick in. The compartment is about 1/2 inch wider than a chapstick is long so it is bigger than I thought it would be.

For my uses, this case is great. I like having a big section where I keep my color pens and highlighters while keeping my most commonly-used pens in the front smaller section. The front tiny little pocket is not essential but super nice to have and just so cute!

I really love the grey color of this case. It's not a blue-based grey but more of a brown-based grey. (To most people, it's probably just "grey" though. =P ) This case is very good quality and I look forward to writing a new review after this has been lugged in my bag for a while. But, being a Nomad product, I'm sure it'll hold up nicely.
