I love this pencil case. Not only does it look cool, but it fits a lot, and is very sturdy.
Here is what I fit in the main compartment:
- 2 pilot foam erasers
- plenty of replacement mechanical pencil erasers
- 6 mechanical pencils
- 2 click erasers
- 4 pens
in the small pouch I have
- 2 things of mechanical pencil lead
and in the other pouch I have
- 5 pens
- pack of sticky tabs

So yeah, it fits enough to tote around for sketching on the go. With all this in it, it looks perfectly full, and still zips up with ease.
It really is great, and it is very easy to carry everywhere (which I do).

I really love this case, it fits all of my pens, pencils, leads, erasers, and highlighters. In the small front pocket I keep 2 packs of mechanical pencil lead, a flash drive, and a pilot frixion eraser. In the medium sized front pocket I keep a Pilot Downforce pen, a Pilot Delful Double Knock pencil, a Tombow Airpress pen, a mechanical eraser, and sticky notes. In the main compartment, I keep 17 pens, pencils, highlighters, etc. and even white out and hole reinforcers.
I definitely recommend this case because it is small enough to carry everywhere, but big enough to hold everything.

I bought this case specifically to take to geology field camp with me, since it's rugged and holds a s**t-ton of pencils. We needed our colored pencils for mapping out in the desert, and this does not let me down. I have at least 24 pencils in it, some Sakura fineliners of various widths, erasers, pencil sharpener, glue stick, highlighter, one of those convertible pairs of scissors that looks like a pen, and a tiny 6" ruler. It lived through 2 weeks in Bishop, CA, a week in Yerington, NV, 4 weeks in central Oregon, a week in Yellowstone, and two weeks in France and Spain. I now take it into the field with me when I work, and people always comment on the amount of stuff I pull out of it (almost comically, like it's the pencil case version of a clown car).

If you need a pencil case that will withstand abuse, take it from a geologist who goes into the field regularly - this is the soft-sided case you want.

It has been 1 year since I had this Pencil case, same reason as last year, it will be used for Highschool. 1 word is needed to summarizer it... spectacular. Although mine has been sullied (a dot from using an expo marker near it when working on a project), it is still bright red as usual. Currently it holds 2 flash drives, 8 mechanical pencils, 5 pens, lead components, an eraser, a numerous sharpies (10, and they are slim / sharp precision tip version). I absoblutely love it, no regrets. To get a gist of the size, in the largest pocket, it can mantain a TI-84 calculator (If I remember correctly from last year). The zipper isn't loud loud, but it isn't silent either. With enough "skills", it can be nearly silent when opening. I was very impressed with how much this case could hold.

I had to buy a red one because my beloved blue Nomadic was stolen and Jet Pens didn't have any blue cases at the time (since rectified). It was more important to get another one of these cases than to be picky about the color Everything I really needs fits in here neatly, with lots of pockets to keep me organized. It holds far more than its size would have you believe!

This pencil case has outlasted a long two years of school and I'm really thankful it's still holding together. It fits quite a decent amount of stuff (maybe not enough for my general pens and pencil addiction) But as of now I fit 5 mechanical pencils (Including two bulky ones) in the longer compartment on the top. Washes well too! Love Nomadic cases!
