I bought this pencil bag in the navy blue (for my friend) and light gray, and while I'm really happy that it holds pretty much everything I could possibly ask for, it's gotten quite dirty in the couple of months I've had it. In fact, it was only a couple of weeks in my possession before it started getting these strange black marks on it. My friend on the other hand, who has had it just as long as I have, has hers in really good condition without any sort of marking (I wonder if it's because I've put it somewhere where it would have gotten dirty, but I'm not really negligent with my things). I kind of expected marking to occur being that the pencil case is such a light color, so I don't really mind too much, especially now since I've had it for so long. If you're the type that wants everything super clean and neat and just as perfect when you just bought it, then perhaps you should check out a different color (another friend of mine got red and hers was in good condition, as far as I could tell).

Like on the reviews of its other-colored brethren, it holds a lot! In the main compartment, I hold two stacks of sticky notes (3"x3" and 1.5"x2"); a small weekly agenda; an assortment of around 14 pens, pencils, and highlighters; and an eraser. I could still hold a lot more, too. In the zippered compartment, I have a small pair of Fiskars scissors, white-out, pencil leads, and binder clips. I tend not to use the velcro'd compartment very much because it's rather loud (quite awkward in a classroom), but I used to hold smaller, things in there like pencil leads, sticky-notes, etc.

When I first got this pencil bag, I used to overstuff it so that things would fall out the top (not often, though). When it's super full, it gets quite lumpy (and it's still rather lumpy with all that I have in it), so sometimes it's hard to get it to fit neatly among other things in perhaps your bag or backpack, but it's not really that big of a deal. I haven't tried putting regular wooden pencils inside of it, so I'm not sure how it marks the orange inside (which is a lovely shade and makes it quite easy to find things).

That aside, I'm really happy with this product. It's the third pencil case I've gotten from JetPens (the first one not being very useful, the second being better but small), and though I'm on the lookout for new pencil cases, I've been so satisfied with this one that I haven't really found the need! Though it's not perfect, it's not so bad that it'd warrant a star marked off, so 5/5 stars it is!

I am using this for my EDC (everyday carry). I can fit all my bits and bobs in all the large and small pockets. I highly recommend this for other uses besides a pencil case!!! Very happy with my purchase. :)

Absolute most amazing pencil case ever. Long lasting, sturdy, holds TONS of stuff, there are a whole bunch of compartments for EVERYTHING, so it's super easy to organize if you have a bunch of different things. love it love it love it, couldn't live without it.

OK, lemme start it off, the Nomadic PE-09 Flap Type Pencil Case - Navy is the best pencil case in the world (I mean it!). It is a very sturdy pencil case and it's quality is 5 stars. I recommend this pencil case to anyone, especially JetPens lovers of all ages! The main pocket (with the eraser pocket) can hold up to 35 pens, pencils, etc... and it comes with a built in eraser pocket fitting any small size eraser. The second pocket right under the logo sign can be perfect for fitting pencil crayons or other stationary . Next, the pocket that flaps can hold led refills, sticky notes, mini notepads, and many more! In total it should fit up to 70 stationary items (which is excellent). This pencil bag is amazing! I have in it 10 pencils in the large pocket and it probably still has room for 25 more! the small mesh pocket is great for a packet of lead ofr a pencil sharpener, but it fits PERFECTLY a scotch tape dispenser (those little ones)! I have 6 highliters in the flap pocket along with some lead and erasers. In the outer pocket I have five pens! If you need room for a lot of pencils, this bag is perfect! The color is very nice, more lime green than the picture shows. its in between lime and light green.
