Noodler's Baystate Blue...
September 20, 2009
Noodler's Baystate Blue really is an incredible color -- possibly the brightest,
most intense blue writing ink I've ever seen. That said, it leaves a MEAN stain
on everything it touches except glass: everything from plastic pen parts to your
fingertips to the sink you cleaned your pen in. A good scrubbing with Comet and
steel wool took care of the sink, and took most of the ink off my fingers as
well, but I can't imagine it would do much for the pen!
I heartily recommend this ink for its beautiful color, but be very careful what
pen you put it in. The Platinum Preppy, fitted with an o-ring (as seen in
JetPens Penpedia!), is ideal for Baystate Blue.
