Very smooth black ink. Good for technical drawing, or even general writing.
This pen has become one...

This pen has become one of my all-time favorites, and I have been searching for a long time. I have loved pens for as long as I can remember, but I never found that one pen that I'd keep going back to. Sure, I'd buy the same pens multiple times, not because I thought they were great, but more because I knew they safe. There's nothing worse than getting stuck with a pack of unusable pens.

I magically came across this website during my search for pens from pretty much anywhere outside of the states. Recent trips to Southeast Asia introduced me to needle-point pens and I have fallen in love. I tend to prefer ballpoint pens and a slightly thinner line than 0.7 mm, but I see no reason to deduct stars for something it isn't. Instead, I will share why it IS so amazing.

This pen is actually quite great for writing or taking notes in a hurry. I am constantly jotting down notes when I am with patients, signing various forms, and many other random papers/documents, so a steady, consistent flow of ink is quite important. I need to know that I can rely on the pen to perform when I need it. If the tip were just a bit smaller, I'd be able to use the pen to write in other places where a finer line is necessary, but I am purchasing the set of 6 in order to: a) determine which pen best suits my needs; b) have a variety; and c) have a backup when this little guy runs out of ink.

Other features of the pen I enjoy are the color and shape of the body, as well as the cap. The black body with traces of orange give it a sleek look, while the orange gives it a bit of color and allows it to stand out. This is helpful because, when everyone's pens begin to look the same, it's hard to tell whether you get your pen back. I can easily spot my pen when multiple hands need to "borrow it really quickly." We all know how that [usually] ends, lol. As for the cap, it hangs on. I clip it to my pads or charts with ease, and while it may sometimes slip around, it rarely falls off.

I truly enjoy this pen and I look forward to receiving the set once I complete my order. When writing, like actual old-fashioned hand-writing notes and papers, is a significant part of your daily professional routine, finding a pen that you love to use actually makes all that paperwork a tad bit easier. It's the little things.

The steel nibs are great for someone like me with a heavy hand.

Very happy with the pen itself, it is extremely smooth writing; the tip feels like its gliding across the page. The permanent ink is nice for work where getting rained on is a real possibility.

This might be the best pen I ever owned. Spent a few months about a year ago looking for the perfect all-around daily use pen. I stopped after finding this and stocked up. Every pen I've purchased since has been a waste...
Movement over paper is very smooth, consistent. Line width is very consistent through the majority of the life of the pen. Only flaw i found is that line quality can be a bit inconsistent as the pen approaches empty, maybe a bit earlier than i would have expected, but every pen dies in its own weird way.

I have tried one size higher and one lower, the 03 appears to be the perfect size for daily use.
Great for quick note taking, doodles/simple drawings, long blocks of handwriting, print or script. Might be a bit too thick for more detailed drawings, would definitely pair this with a thinner point if this is necessary.

For a general use pen, however, I've never used anything nicer. Down to my last three pens... getting nervous that JetPens won't re-stock!
