Excellent pen. Mechanism is fine. Writes very consistently, even on cheap paper. The inexpensive refills make this a pen that you should definitely try.

This is a great pen. I use slim, metal pens for work, and I've always wished for a retractable slim pen. I was excited to find this at Jet Pens! It's lightweight and I've never had any problems with the rectractable mechanism. I bought the 0.5 refill and use that instead of the 0.3 provided with the pen. Overall, I have been satisfied with my purchase.

Writes very visibly, especially for its point size. The cap tends to unscrew loose, although screwing it back on is trivial.
