I have to admit, I don't use this pen with any regularity as they (I have 2) are
usually relegated to my purse's pen bag. I therefore have not really noticed
the rattling some of the other reviews have pointed out and I am not sure if it
would be a deal breaker for me if I did notice.
This is a very cute needle point pen. As with some ballpoints, you'll see some
minor ink blobs as you write, but to me that can add some character to whatever
you'll be jotting down, so once again not a huge issue to me.
The single BEST thing about this pen, in all honesty, is the wonderful smell of
the wooden barrel. SERIOUSLY. Just like the smell of a library book, this
smell is instantly nostalgic and comforting. I would recommend it on that
alone.

This pen writes fine, and the wooden barrel is unique, but like other reviewers
have said, the clicker mechanism is loose. Also, the clip isn't secure, so it
slides right off the pen. I just got mine and the clip has fallen off twice.

Truly disappointed at the quality of this pen. For the amount paid for this
product, it is genuinely a let down. I was expecting a lot more. The body is
made of wood, which was good. The problems start with the internals of the pen.
The clicker is not smooth and not snug; it made rattling sounds. The pen rattles
when I write which to me is low quality and bad workmanship. Don't waste your
money!

I bought this pen because I enjoy using Ohto's other needle pens. While it
writes exactly the same as the other pens, I had to subtract two stars because
the plunger on the end is loose when the pen tip is out and makes a really,
really irritating rattling noise when you write. I'm no pen connoisseur but this
alone is enough to make me not want to use the pen on a regular basis. Such a
shame, because it is an attractive pen that feels good in the hand.
