The pen is a very good low-end ink. I will probably make sure I always have a
bottle of this around at least for backup! The colour is, as others have
mentioned, slightly off (mine is slightly purple, like around the rim in the
photos), but is only noticeable when I write a very fine line, writing lightly
with an eastern fine nib. The ink dries very nicely, and about as nice as some
better ballpoints I've used, but pales in comparison to some truly black inks.
I would recommend this ink to anyone who just needs to write specifically to
write, not to look perfect and bold.

I use Quink in my vintage Parker 21 and it writes beautifully. The ink lays
onto the paper without skipping or thinning out.

I must contradict the previous review of this ink. I have used Parker Quink for
quite some time it has a deep black color and dries relatively quickly. The
lines are sometimes a bit watery, but not to the extent of many other inks I
have used. Perhaps this previous reviewer got a lemon or something strange,
because from my perspective this is a solid buy. Try it out for yourself.

The color of this ink is not black enough. it has a bluish greenish tint to it.
very diluted. it does dry a little bit faster than the noodler's.
the words comes out looked like it's faded and cheap.
would not recommend to anyone.

Parker Quink Fountain Pen Ink - 2 oz Bottle - Permanent - Blue Black
This is the classic Parker blue-black ink we were supplied with in school in
England when I was a schoolchild (although these days, it is made in France,
according to the bottle). It is a perfect match for my vintage Parker 51, and
works well in other pens- though for some reason writes a bit lighter in my Lamy
Safari with italic nib, and in my Plumix (also italic). I haven't found this to
be the case with other blue-black inks I have tried.
If you don't know already, you should be aware that "permanent" in this ink's
name is a somewhat loose term, applying more to the stains it might leave on
your clothing than to its archival properties.. It is definitely not waterproof,
and has, in my experience, only slightly better than average resistance to light
for a bluish ink. Still, I find that it behaves impeccably in the pen, has a
pleasantly neutral (not too green) blue-black tone, comes i n a well-made,
ergonomically sensible bottle with a sturdy, Bakelite-ish cap, and is
inexpensive. I use it for most of my quick work, and have yet to find a
blue-black ink I like better.

Parker Quink Fountain Pen Ink - 2 oz Bottle - Washable - Blue
Seems very watery and has a lot of purple in it. I was really disappointed in
the color of it and how transparent it was, I used up a converter full, refilled
it, hoping for a darker line on the second fill, but no go. I emptied it out and
refilled with J Herbin perywinkle blue.
