Very nice brown. Would buy again.

Nice smooth ink. More of a dark orange or brown orange than pure brown.

Just all-purpose ink, not very intense or very pale, with excellent flowability. No occlusion as in other inks, and yet a straight contour line drawing, even in porous papers. I award this ink with five stars in its category.

This is one of the best black inks. I ahve been using for 20 years. DARK, great flow and inexpensive. You can never go wrong with PELIKAN inks

It states Royal Blue, but on paper, it looks more like a lighter shade of blue. However, I'm giving it 4 stars because it works well on my Lamy Safari fountain pen---smooth and consistent!

It's okay. Not great but not bad. The black isn't the darkest. It's more of a purple black. And the ink bleeds a little on cotton paper. But it seems to flow well. It's a decent black ink.

Inexpensive and good ink for everyday use. If you are looking for a more bright, lasting ink, I'd recommend a different brand. However, for note taking and daily scribbles, this ink was perfect for me. Color not very vibrant and fades a bit, but you get what you pay for! At only 6 bucks, Pelikan is a perfect standard ink for daily usage. I was very happy with it and will definitely repurchase this again in the future.

I like this one for daily use with a Lamy 1.9 italic nib, but it performs well even with finer nibs (all the way down to hair lines with dip pens).

This is a vibrant, pleasant ink that stands out on the page.

I am not sure why previous reviewer said it was an OK black. In my expereince of using this ink for 20 plus years it is one of the BEST black ink avaliable. And I have used many of them. The only black that MIGHT be slightly darker is AURORA.

Great color, not too green like many of the other turquoise inks. Would buy again.

I was very disappointed. This is not a true red, but a very orangy-red color. It lacks the depth of color I expect from a standard red. It gives more the impression of a garish highlighter color than a full-bodied red. You can tell by the photo that it's a fairly transparent color compared to most red ink. I can't really speak to the writing performance of the ink because I mixed it with some other red ink I had to make the color more acceptable. I like Pelikan purple, green and turquoise so the red (mail ordered) was an unpleasant surprise. I may have to give it away to get rid of it.
