This is my first broad nib pen and I have to say it is broader than I expected.
It sure lays down a lot of ink! My main complaint is that when using the
converter,
part of the silver on the converter can be seen in the little side windows.
Overall it looks pretty cheap, but then it was. Seems it might be nice in
signing Christmas cards, but for me little else.

Pelikan P55 Future Fountain Pen - Fine Nib - Red Body
Good, basic fountain pen. I have a blue medium nib, and a red fine nib now. The
medium is more like a broad, and the fine, a medium. The blue cap doesn't stay
on as well as the red, but both are great as I usually just carry in a bag
upright. I'd like to see a screw on cap though. Good value overall, and very
smooth.

Pelikan P55 Future Fountain Pen - Fine Nib - Blue Body
The ink bleeds out very thick, even from a fine point nib. The pen feels even
cheaper than the price tag. The grip is nice, and my wife loves it for use on
thick card stock and envelopes, but it is unsuable for note taking and everyday
use. Also, and it my be inconsequential to some, the cap will not stay on the
back of the pen when in use.

Pelikan P55 Future Fountain Pen - Fine Nib - Red Body
The "fine" nib writes more like a medium. It's nice and lightweight and is
rugged enough to drag around in a purse or pocket. It looks nicer on the
outside, but I think I prefer the Preppy Platinum line for how my handwriting
looks.

im not super happy with this pen...
it writes ok and is pretty smooth but the problem came when i attached the
converter and filled it with ink; this pen is a pain to clean.
clearing the surface and back of the nib of ink is very difficult. By contrast,
i filled my Lamy Safari the same night with the same brand but different color
ink and it was WAY easier to clean.
Now this was my first time bottle filling any pen so im not ruling out that i
did something wrong and would gladly take any feedback but if my Lamy is any
indication, this pen is not nearly as easy to keep ink off the nib.
I love all the pens ive gotten from Jetpens! In fact im ordering another pen
next week but i dont think it will be another Future.

Pelikan P55 Future Fountain Pen - Broad Nib - Blue Body
I expected greater things from Pelikan, although this is a lower end pen. It
writes fair (not as well as other Pelikans I own, or those from other
manufacturers.). The cap does not stay on the other end of the pen, which makes
writing awkward, as the pen body is relatively short. For the money, there are
better pens out there.

Pelikan P55 Future Fountain Pen - Fine Nib - Blue Body
A misstep as far as I was concerned. It's a very wet writer, and the "fine" nib
leaves a thick line, so it's not good for filling a small journal with small
neat writing. The cap absolutely will not post, which is just bad design. It
leaves a very short pen (slightly shorter than a Pilot Petit1 that does have the
cap posted if you've tried one of those), and anyway, who wants to lay the cap
down somewhere while writing and have to keep track of it?
Not really awful, it's just that there are much better choices at around the
same price and lower.
