Ridiculously smooth....

Ridiculously smooth. I was really skeptical there would be much of a difference between lead brands, and I was very wrong. These just glide over the paper. They do wear down a bit quickly, but this is to be expected of 0.3mm 2B lead. It's very worth the wonderful writing experience. My other 0.3mm leads in B tend to snag the tiniest bit on regular printer or notebook paper. There's absolutely none of that in these. Very nice.

I cant seem to notice the difference between this 2b and the original Ain b. But I must say, this is just as smooth if not a hint smoother as the regular Ain.

I dont like the new container as much as the old one, although it looks better. I feel like I will snap the refills accidentally.

Good lead, buttery smooth, and definitely as break resistant if not a little more break resistant than the regular Ain.

First - The package contains only 15 pieces. For the same price, you get 40 pieces in a container of 0.5 mm lead. Interesting discrepancy.

From previous experience, 0.3 mm leads were just too fragile to be of any use. Even 0.5 was a little too delicate for my hand. Today's lead technology has produced some amazing leads, both super smooth and not fragile. Note: In my test I did not try to break the lead; rather, I wrote with it. And it writes very nicely. And it didn't break. This lead now has a regular place on my shopping list.

Good lead, but not much different from any other .3mm lead you can get in a standing brick and mortar art store. I'd save your money and get it there, unless you're doing a large order so shipping isn't an issue.

The 0.3mm led is too thin for the amount of pressure I apply to the pencil. If you have a light touch, it would probably work well for you.

I'd had really good experiences with the 0.5 and 0.9 Stein lead. This one doesn't seem to enjoy being in my Pilot Airblanc. It produces a nice, dark line, but that's about all I find good about it.

I like this lead alot! It leaves nice dark lines just the way i wanted! One downside though is that since it is a thin lead it will break at times but depending on what kind of lead pencil you use its pretty sturdy!!

A 0.3 2B lead that's not too prone to breakage - makes beautiful fine dark lines.
