The Pentel Stein Enhanced Silica Pencil Lead features a reinforced silica core that makes the Stein Pentel's smoothest, strongest, sharpest pencil lead yet! The lead is also designed to be smear resistant, allowing you to have beautiful, clear writing and smudge free hands (great for left-handed people).

THE BEST PENCIL LEAD I HAVE EVER USED! I love Pentel Stein Enhanced Silica Pencil Lead and 2H just seems to write the nicest in my opinion! It doesn't smear and glides very smoothly across the most unruly sheets of paper! I love it five stars!!!

This lead is better than the regular Ain 2H lead. It glides smoother and is alot easier to erase. It's also quite break resistant.

You got to be careful with this lead. I use this in my roulette model of the kuru toga series and I enjoy it. I use 2h because when you press lightly on the paper. But when you do press hard, the line from the lead damages the paper. That's how hard 2h lead is and you got to be careful. Other than that it erases well and I didn't have a problem with it then.

THis lead turned out to be a great buy. I was expecting a lead that was going to be rough on the paper but this was actually more smoother.

Haven't really had a real opportunity to use these leads for any considerable amount of time but they do seem to hold up really well and don't break easily, if at all. Great price on them and I will order them again when I do run out of them.
