I was surprised at how much scent there was! I opened up the bag and BOOM the scent hit me in the face! It faded a little after a day or two, but it's still very clearly there. It's a nice relxing scent that's very sweet in the middle of an essay or school work, and it's very sturdy. Highly recommended.

I love the smell of this lead... it is sweet and soothing. When I first opened the package, I was overwhelmed by the strong scent, but i noticed that it neutralizes once you start writing with it. 5 stars from me!!

ps. the package also comes with 2 small scratch and sniff stickers that help distinguish which kind of lead is in which pencil. Very helpful to me.

Ok, I purchased these scented leads more out of curiousity. If you hold the lead close to your nose, yes, you can smell the 'smell', however, on paper, well, it might as well have no scent at all. Unless you have the smell sense of a hound, you might just want to buy regular lead.

I had bought all 3 of the scents. Its been awhile since I bought them and they smell the same since when I got it. That about 1/2 year. The smell is faint and when I write and I'm close to the pencil. I can smell the scent.
