Warning: does not smell on paper, only in lead case.
a little disappointing. but at least the case smells! writes like regular lead, and so-so lead at that

This writes like regular lead. The scent is strong inside the lead case, but you can't smell anything once it goes on the paper. I bought this mainly because of the scent, but a bit disappointed that I couldn't smell anything on the paper...

I love this lead(and the pencils), although I was kinda disappointed that it didn't smell as strong as I hoped it would. However, I will still by refills because I love it!

It's neither winterfresh nor mint. The scent is menthol/eucalyptus, it's the Vicks mentholatum scent. This is disappointing for me since I am a huge fan of mint.

i'm giving this one star because although the lead is strong and not crumbly; my main purpose in purchasing this lead was for the scent.

i just tested this lead out by scribbling all over a blank sheet of paper by using one whole lead piece and nothing. THERE IS NO SCENT.

the leads smell inside the lead container but there is no smell on the paper when the lead is used.

I love this lead!!
The scent is more herbal than minty to me, but its lovely nonetheless. As far as it being light, its a small difference and really not something you should worry about.

This is my personal favorite scent...it really does refresh me!! when I first opened the package and took a whiff, i was overwhelmed by the strong scent, but i noticed that it neutralizes once you start writing with it. 5 stars from me!!

I was really amazed to smell this product when I opened the package, it was a very pleasing aroma. And surprisingly it really did make me feel more awake! It's lead is light, but It's not as light as I thought it would be with all the reviews I've been reading. This was such an interesting product, that I just HAD to try it myself. The lead really does smell great to me. And it's smell makes me feel more productive. The only problem I can see, is the fact that I have a very strong sense of smell, and can smell the scent from across the room. But for someone who doesn't have the same as me, might think the lead is somewhat faint scented.

This was a great novelty idea. It feels a little harder than HB led, but I am use to using B led in my pencils so my internal calibration to these things may be off. My friend compared the Refresh sent to Mentos. The sent is faint and pleasant. I am planning on using it for my finals : D

Forgot to mention that the foil package also includes a couple of Ain Refresh logo stickers to mark any mechanical pencil with the type of Supplio scent lead being used. A convenient feature when not using the matching Supplio sharp pencils.
