Once you try these effects with the flowing touch and vivid colors characteristic of brush pens, you'll discover endless creative possibilities. The brush pens are wonderful for writing, illustrating, and drawing. Surprise friends and family with one-of-a-kind cards!

The pens have nylon brush tips. To create color gradations, touch brush tips of different colors together. To blur or lighten colors, touch the brush tips to water before drawing. The ink is dye-based, and you can adjust ink flow by squeezing the ink cartridge. Ink refills are available.

This pen contains Gray ink. Some photos feature the Black ink pen.

Note: If you are unable to twist the cartridge off from the brush part (clear barrel) of the pen, try twisting in the opposite direction.

This pen definitely takes...

This pen definitely takes some getting used to. I use it to add shading to some of my ink or pencil drawings. At first I was wondering why it was so dry but you have to squeeze the barrel a bit to get some of the ink really into the brush. However I always get scared it will splatter! Luckily it hasn't. It's very different from other pens I've used and I feel that I can't really control the ink output like I would like to. The ink is a good neutral grey which I really love.
The nib is quite nice as well. If you've ever used a water brush they're comparable. This one has a very good amount of flexibility and always comes back to a point. The grip on paper is very good too. Enough control but also enough give to be comfortable.
A nice addition to my pen arsenal. I'll most likely be purchasing refills for this.
