I just received this pen about 2 weeks ago:
The positives:
1. I do like the bigger barrel-style pen. 2. The wider eraser.
The negatives:
1. It doesn't write smoothly all the time, its a hit and miss; depending on the
angle you hold it which then caused more hand fatigue.
2. I was not aware the point of the pen is a "needle like" style. Had I known
that prior, I wouldn't have bought it.
3. The ink barely lasted a few days. If you write alot this may not be the pen
for you. You'll need plenty of refills.
3. The eraser needs to be bigger.
The search continues for a extra fine multi pen that works.

I recently lost my multi pen that I bought years ago, and was really upset. I
searched the internet looking for another one (they're SO convenient!) and
jetpens had the best price.
not only does the pen look spiffy, it's also easy to carry (who wants to carry 3
pens when you can carry one?)
super recommended! :)

Pentel EnerGel 2 Color 0.5 mm Liquid Gel Ink Multi Pen + 0.5 mm Pencil - Black Body Accents
I agree completely with mik... I also have had a couple of these for years.
They're great except for the stupid eraser. The cap is gone in a week. I have
tried 3 or 4 different eraser refills including the one Jet says is the right
one - NONE of them are close to right. Either they fall out or they're way too
stiff. I NEED an eraser, dang it, we ALL need a decent eraser on this type
pencil/pen. Several folks make great erasers, WHY can't Pentel or Pilot or
somebody put one on the pencil? Best I have come up with is cutting pieces of
the soft white long Pentel click eraser refills.
I HAVE tried the Coleto (4 slot) with the eraser cartridge, same motivation -
it's not bad except that the 0.3mm pencil cartridge broke after a month, the
0.3mm pen refills just stop after they're about 10-20% used. The 0.4mm pan
cart's are good, the 0.5mm pencil not bad.

Pentel EnerGel 2 Color 0.5 mm Liquid Gel Ink Multi Pen + 0.5 mm Pencil - Black Body Accents
I've had a couple of these for a year or so and generally like them EXCEPT -
The eraser cap gets lost in the first few days.
The eraser refills sold for this do not fit well, are very short, over priced
and fall out - this CAN'T be the right eraser for this pen.
After a few dozen twists to switch pen/pencil the body splits or plastic threads
strip - I've glued one with plastic solvent cement & now it works reliably just
looks bad.
Ink supply is small but refill are cheap.
On Plus side - the pens write VERY nicely, the pencil remains reliable - gone
through many refills.
Why can't anyone make a decent multi pen/pencil WITH A DECENT REAL ERASER, not
those pitiful tiny worthless things?
Looking at the Hi-Tec-C Colecto with eraser cartridge option - anyone tried
those yet?

Pentel EnerGel 2 Color 0.5 mm Liquid Gel Ink Multi Pen + 0.5 mm Pencil - Blue Body Accents
Bought this pen to have in my purse. Perfect for purse or bag; covered eraser
cap fits tightly, and no delicate sliding tabs to break. Also, Pentel makes THE
best reliable mechanical pencils I've found in 20 years. Eraser is very
effective, pencil is easily refillable but holds only a few leads at a time,
pens very smooth and lovely fine vivid lines. Rated 4 stars b/c twist barrel
point switch mechanism is a bit awkward for constant use.

The previous reviewer loved this pen; I did not, which I guess just shows how
much personal taste factors into these reviews. The writing/ink quality is
decent; nothing to get too excited about but the point is stable and the ink
flows well. My problem is with the mechanism for changing points. The pen has a
red point, black point and pencil. The pen rotates through an arc to change
points. Rotate to the right past the pencil and the rotation stops; rotate all
the way to the left and you'll find yourself unscrewing the barrel. My biggest
pet peeve is the clip is used to indicate which point you've selected via an
indicator on the barrel but the clip and the indicator don't line up and I don't
mean it's just a little bit off either, but stuck roughly halfway in-between the
indicators. Yes, it's an inexpensive pen, but for the same price you can get a
Uni-ball Signo MF3 that writes better (in my opinion) and has a much more solid
feel. Maybe I just got a lemon but I wouldn't recommend this pen nor would I buy
another one.
