Well, I do not know where...

Well, I do not know where to start with this pencil. It's an amazing, well-balanced pencil. It's weighted toward the bottom a bit, which gives me great control over my writing. The grip is fantastic and was not rough on my hand at all, even though I tend to grip the pencil on the harder side. I really love the cap, and here's why. Not only will it adjust to the blackness of the lead, if you don't care about this feature (which I don't, I'm not a drafter who needs multiple lead weights, I just wanted a really nice pencil for sketching and taking notes, etc. which this does effortlessly) the cap is also the perfect size for putting on a good cap eraser. The downfall of drafting pencils is that it is such a fantastic pencil they never put in a nice big eraser. I don't mind this so much as I tend to carry around another eraser anyway, but on days I forget, it's nice to pop on a cap eraser to not destroy the tiny little eraser under the cap.

I love the tip. It's all metal, and very solid. The lead has ABSOLUTELY NO GIVE whatsoever and just feels extremely well put together. The tiers give me a nice view of my lead. If you're debating buying this at all, I would absolutely go for it. You will not be disappointed.

Unfortunately for me, I lost it on the last day of school (during the last period of finals! I went up to grab something and when I came back it disappeared. I seriously thought my chemistry teacher took it O_o) So I'm promptly ordering another one! I went to write with a Bic mechanical pencil to write something down and it was an awful experience. THIS PENCIL SPOILS YOU :D.

My 4th JetPens Review....

My 4th JetPens Review. Woohoo!

Five great color choices and I chose black? Well I had to, as those of you who have read my third review of the Platinum Pro-Use 07 Black Mechanical Pencil for Drafting - 0.7 mm will already know. Those of you who don't know my preference for blackness may give my review #3 a looky-loo, if you feel up to it.

On to the pen! If you're into a well balanced, somewhat affordable (Hey I had to save up my 25 cent allowance for 36 weeks), basic mechanical pencil without all the bells and whistles of some other mechanical pencils which I intend to review here on JetPens one day, then this is a definite contender for your attentions. This pencil is just plain smooth. Like my preference for certain unmentionable, because JetPens doesn't carry them yet, Japanese fountain pens, this pencil is made to work, period. She ain't flashy. She doesn't want to take all the money from your pocket. And she darn well better not run off with your best friend (Sorry, felt a twang of nostalgia). She just wants to stand by your side for better or worse, in sickness and in health. Yeah, I just inferred that you should marry a pencil. But you won't have to worry about a prenup and your love will grow as you spend more time together.

If your lucky you'll be hearing these words in your head right now, "She's a keeper!"
