This is one ultimate pencil. perfectly balanced. period. If you are buying this, buy white only. looks good in your hands.
More than this, i would like to tell a story. I gave a wrong address when ordering, with the tracking number i found that the package was lost. i conveyed that to the jetpens, they were happy to send another one without any extra cost. five stars for pencil and five stars for jetpens. hurray to the customer service.

Great Product. Best pencil i used. Ive been using alot of pencil like alpha gel shaka, alpha gel slim, dr grip g spec, dr grip center of gravity, Pental p207, Aqua touch, Pental Graph 500, and multi pencils. And this beat everyone one of them. Worth it. I write faster, clear and complete my work faster. Best prouduct ever.

  I bought this pencil..., February 15, 2011
I bought this pencil a few months ago and used the pencil only occasionally. Today the metal tip fell of of the pencil due to the threads on the body being stripped. The threads are plastic, just like the white body. I have added some thread tape to temporarily "fix" the problem, but I know it is only a matter of time before this pencil becomes junk.

Well, I do not know where..., June 11, 2011
This review is from Pentel Graph 600 Drafting Pencil - 0.5 mm - Black Body
Well, I do not know where to start with this pencil. It's an amazing, well-balanced pencil. It's weighted toward the bottom a bit, which gives me great control over my writing. The grip is fantastic and was not rough on my hand at all, even though I tend to grip the pencil on the harder side. I really love the cap, and here's why. Not only will it adjust to the blackness of the lead, if you don't care about this feature (which I don't, I'm not a drafter who needs multiple lead weights, I just wanted a really nice pencil for sketching and taking notes, etc. which this does effortlessly) the cap is also the perfect size for putting on a good cap eraser. The downfall of drafting pencils is that it is such a fantastic pencil they never put in a nice big eraser. I don't mind this so much as I tend to carry around another eraser anyway, but on days I forget, it's nice to pop on a cap eraser to not destroy the tiny little eraser under the cap.

I love the tip. It's all metal, and very solid. The lead has ABSOLUTELY NO GIVE whatsoever and just feels extremely well put together. The tiers give me a nice view of my lead. If you're debating buying this at all, I would absolutely go for it. You will not be disappointed.

Unfortunately for me, I lost it on the last day of school (during the last period of finals! I went up to grab something and when I came back it disappeared. I seriously thought my chemistry teacher took it O_o) So I'm promptly ordering another one! I went to write with a Bic mechanical pencil to write something down and it was an awful experience. THIS PENCIL SPOILS YOU :D.

This pencil uses the same brass, 3-jawed clutch mechanism as the Smash and Graph 1000, with a metal magazine tube. Balance is forward, as expected with the metal grip, which is not altogether grippy, but not what I'd call slippery. Everything's up to Pentel snuff, no surprises. For now, this is my go-to drawing pencil. And if you're not sure, yes, the color is absolutely gorgeous in life. This is one fine looking tool.

This pencil is great for the price. I really like the minty blue color. And the end of it is heavier than the top, and it's very nice for drawing. I use it for drawing Manga. This is my first drafting pencil, and I really love it. I would recommend this.

This review is from Pentel Graph 600 Drafting Pencil - 0.3 mm - Navy Blue Body
The newest in the great line of Pentel (of Japan) drafting pencils. A simple but elegant pencil that's a pleasure to write and draw with. Lightweight with a metal grip that appears to be non removable. Lead grade indicator in the push button locks in with a click and stays put. Satin finished rings comprise the grip and make a nice alternative to the common knurled, or diamond, pattern no a lot of metal grips. One of the best things about the Pentel pencils, and the Graph 600 is no exception, is the fact that the lead is extended in very small increments so the user is able to get just the right amount of lead without running the risk of lead breakage.

This pencil is simply amazing. It is my very first 0.3mm pencil ever. I was astonished to find the lead really small and thin, compared to lead 0.7mm. (I'm a 0.7mm user.) The blue green color is really cool and goes great with the silver color on the pencil. This pencil comes with 5 pieces of lead and be careful when dropping it. I already dropped it like 4 times and the tip got bent a bit. Though I fixed it somehow. It also comes with an eraser-lead jammer, in case you get the lead stuck. But to me, the grip is a bit slippery. I'm not complaining though.

I bought this pencil for the simplistic design & the lovely mint color of this pencil. Most of the weight of the pencil is towards the tip, most likely due to the heavier, metal grip and lighter, plastic body. Overall a good, comfortable pencil for the price. The color is really attractive & soothing so much so that even though this isn't the best or most comfortable pencil I own, I still find myself picking it up quite often.

Before I received this pencil, my go-to pencil was the GraphGear 500 (0.5mm). I'll still keep that pencil in my case for back up, but this new one is way better in my opinion. I prefer smaller lead and it fit my needs perfectly.

This review is from Pentel Graph 600 Drafting Pencil - 0.3 mm - Navy Blue Body
Absolutely a great pencil! I picked it up while I was in Japan last summer, and it's lasted for a long time! I use it for my agenda where I have to write really small and precise. The weight is nice, but not perfect. It's a little too low-centered for my taste, but it's a very nice pencil! It is a little fragile- from just keeping it in my pencil bag the 4 mm sleeve has bent, but just a little. For the money, it's a VERY nice pencil!

The specs don't say, but the lead grade indicator goes from 4H to B.

The only really negative thing is that the sleeve is a little bit difficult to hold onto...

This review is from Pentel Graph 600 Drafting Pencil - 0.5 mm - Mint Green Body
I need to amend part of my review:
This does not appear to use the same mechanism as the Smash and Graph 1000, but it is rather essentially identical, save for cap, grip, and nosepiece, to the Graphgear 500. This one's the looker, but I think the Graphgear 500 is more comfortable to use, with its rounded edges and grippy knurling, as opposed to the square-profile step-downs to the sleeve on this model.

I really like this. The color is beautiful-just like it looks on my screen-a minty blue. I like the weight of the pencil, but I would prefer the grip area to be more comfortable. I'm still glad I got it, but it is painful to use for too long at a time.

I bought this pencil for the color, and it's just beautiful! In my screen, it looked a bit bluer than it actually is, but the color is still lovely. (I think it's the exact same color of a Godiva mint chocolate chip truffle.)
I only use it for regular writing, since I'm not an artist, and I'm very pleased with it. It's very comfortable to hold and use.

This review is from Pentel Graph 600 Drafting Pencil - 0.3 mm - White Body
I absolutely LOVE the way that it feels and writes, but I've noticed that with both of my 0.3 graph 600 pencils, the lead will sometimes not extend when the end is pushed down. I've tried various things to fix this, but I can't seem to find a definite way to cure this problem. While this is a big problem, every time it has happened, I have been able to, at some point, fix them, so I still give this 4 stars.

(is anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know, thanks)

This review is from Pentel Graph 600 Drafting Pencil - 0.5 mm - Mint Green Body
This is a fine Pentel mechanical pencil. I am pleased with the quality and performance. The only drawback from my perspective is the metal grip. The rings which circle the barrel are not as comfortable as the knerled grip found on the Pentel Graphgear 500. This is a personal choice and does not affect the performance of the pencil. I'm glad to add it to my daily rotation.

This review is from Pentel Graph 600 Drafting Pencil - 0.3 mm - Orange Body
This pencil is a little clicky - the lead sleeve clacks around when it's jostled. This isn't an issue but it's a little bothersome during tests and other quiet environments. It doesn't make noise during normal writing, just when it's flipped to erase, etc. The grip is comfortable and weighted well - it's not too heavy or too light (I've stabbed myself by dropping my Alvin Draftmatic point down... this pencil isn't weighty enough for that) and it offers a more substantial feel without an uncomfortable knurled grip. My one big complaint is that the color isn't as depicted. I was expecting a deep designer red orange, I would describe this color more as carrot. It's more towards yellow than red. I own the blue one as well and find it much more pleasing to the eye. Either way this is a nice deviation from the boring looking drafting pencils and it has a solid spot in my pencil case, mostly for its weight and grip comfort.

this a very beautiful pencil to use, even though i didn't buy it from here & these are hard to find in the UK & the colour is discontinued but luckily i ended up finding it in a UK shop
the grips is suprisingly comfortable to use when drawing & the price is pretty good as well
i usually use whatever mech pencil i can find, i always used a cheaper mech pencil because they are easier to access & pus its helps as i have a huge range of different graded leads at home
but i haven't tried the refill mechanism though but a very attractive & a beautiful pencil to use
& plus i've never seen a pencil in such a pretty colour

disappointing:
I was really excited for this because I have the Graph Gear 500 and thought it would be as great of quality. There are a few differences in the design, particularly the grip; on the Graph Gear 500 the grip is diamond-cut and rough to keep from slipping, but the "non-slip ridges" on this do not help much at all. I was disappointed mainly in the clicking mechanism as it would not advance the lead unless pointed straight down and clicked with deliberate purpose repeatedly. At first I thought it just advanced in small increments, but that proved false as I clicked gently as one does with a new pencil and found nothing would come out. Finally I got frustrated enough to click it almost violently and it would come out randomly.
If you want this for style, get it because the color is very unique, but if you want something for function, I recommend looking into other drafting pencils on here. Do not lose faith in Pentel! They are still my favorite and most reliable manufacturer. Look into the Graph Gear 500 or 1000 or the Ohto Super Promecha line.

This pencil is well made and good looking. The thing that I don't like about this pencil is that it's really hard to hold. The tip of the pencil is around 2 cm from the holder, which makes it really hard to write.
