Almost but something is missing. I love my Graphgear 1000 (other than the incredible weight of it). I'm kinda mixed on the Graphgear 500 (like the idea, but the grip/barrel junction leaves me felling like the pencil is unfinished) and the Sharp series (P20x) is nice, but becoming dated. This pencil a nice appearence, but the grip section is slippery (chromed metal that just doesn't grab). Action is pure Pentel perfection. I don't like the fact that the mechanics are sealed in the barrel, but apprciate the brass jaw. Nice lead capacity (and 6 included leads). Typical Pentel eraser. Hardness indicator that stays in place. I just can't put my finger on it, but something seems to be missing with this pencil. Maybe its the fact that it seems lighter the the GG500 but set me back a couple bucks more?, or maybe there really is nothing wrong and this is a great simple mechanical pencil.
