The Orenz mechanical pencil features 0.2 mm lead for amazingly thin, clean lines. It's great for writing notes, math problems, graphs, and more!

Despite being so fine, the lead doesn't break as you write, due to the innovative Orenz mechanism. The guide pipe protects the entire length of the lead, and you write without extending the lead out of the guide pipe, which glides right along the surface of the paper. Since it has rounded edges, the guide pipe doesn't catch on the paper or scratch it. As you write, the guide pipe gets shorter. When you need more lead, just click the top button as you would with any other mechanical pencil. The guide pipe will extend again, along with the lead inside.

Because there's no lead breakage, your papers remain clean without smudges from broken lead dust. You can also retract the guide pipe so it doesn't poke you or your belongings when you've stowed the pencil away.

0.2 mm HB lead is included and you can find more 0.2 mm lead here.

This is the Yellow pencil. Photos of a pencil without its packaging feature the Sky Blue pencil.

Stopped working after first lead. As soon as I came to the end of the first piece of lead, the pen jammed and refused to advance any more lead. I've attempted to clear it out in multiple ways, but it remains non-functional. Definitely NOT recommended.

Our worthy Japanese colleagues have certainly done it again! One would think that if one purchases a 0.2 mm mechanical pencil, one is automatically destined to spend an inordinate amount of time clearing broken lead fragments out of a clogged pencil point. Not so! This particular mechanical pencil is a sturdy implement and is made to take on protracted writing periods without worries or problems. A real plus is the available dark "B" softness leads that one can purchase for this fine-line pencil. On the off chance that the point ever clogs, the componental structure of this mechanical pencil is relatively simple enough to allow a mechanical inept such as I to put it rapidly in good working order. The small conical lead guide in the pencil's point, once properly seated, ensures that lead is smoothly ejected to the pencil point when needed, and works quite well to practically eliminate lead breakage. The tiny steel reamer opposite the eraser inside the push button is also quite handy for assisting in eliminating point clogs. Add to this designer pastel colors and the pencil is a real all-around winner! It certainly has my unqualified vote!

My Orenz .2mm jams multiple times a day. When the pencil is working, it's very nice to have such a finely tipped mechanical pencil, even though the lead consumption is alarmingly high. This pencil brings to mind a temperamental ("high maintenance") sports car which can do things that others can't -- that is, when the thing is actually working correctly. I am ready to go back to a regular, boring, old .5mm after seeing how unreliable this pencil is.

Rugged and stylish P200-like body with clever and fool-proof mechanism that allows you to use a 3mm length of lead per click while protecting it with the sliding lead sleeve. Affordable pencil that brings you the best of both worlds, a thin line with none of the inconvenients typically associated with it.

I had too many issues...
June 22, 2016
I had too many issues with this pencil, even though I really wanted to like it and kept trying to use it better. I lightened the amount of pressure I used, I wrote slower, I used different kinds of paper, etc. In the end, it just made it more difficult to handle and use. It would jam, I constantly had to refill with lead even when I only have 1-click worth of lead showing at anytime. I couldn't write too much before I had to extend/click for more lead. It's pretty, light, and small to carry - but I wouldn't buy again or recommend - at least the 0.2 anyhow.
