I have just recently started to buy gel pens, and so far this is the only one
that I am satisfied with. I found the Pilot G2s too "skippy", and the Hi-Tecs
were a bit too fine for me (I prefer 0.7). These are amazingly smooth and the
colors are great (if a bit limited). Thanks for stocking this diameter!

This is my absolute favorite black pen. The ink is dark, it writes incredibly
smoothly, and it never skips. This pen just glides!

Let me prefaces my review by saying how much I adore the Pentel Slicci pens in
general. I love them, and have just about every size in many colors - but my
second favorite is this, the 0.7mm black Gel Ink Pen. My fave is the same pen in
a 0.4mm size (which appears not to be in stock currently). This pen is
fantastic...does not skip and produces a very nice dark line. It does tend to
use a lot more ink than the 0.4mm but then again that goes without saying since
it's a 0.7mm. Considering the price, quality and usability, this pen is clearly
a 5 out of 5 stars and I would HIGHLY recommend this to one and all. But since
you are still on this site if you are currently reading my review.... go put the
0.4mm AND the 0.3mm in your cart. However, after purchasing all the other
widths, I recommend you avoid the 0.25mm width because I find it skips more than
it writes, and even considering the thin width of the line, it is nowhere near
dark enough. For the tiny width lines, I would go to another model instead of
the Slicci (several here on Jet Pens are amazing) or consider a drawing pen.
Anyway, I would give the Slicci 0.3 - 0.7 ten stars if that were possible!

I have a number of Pilot and Pentel gel and other pens for general writing, and
just got this pen this week. This has become my all-time favorite. If you want a
scratchy pen, this is the opposite. If you want a pen with an easily legible
black line, not too wide, and a pen that glides over the paper as if the paper
were Teflon, made just for your hand motion, this is the pen for you. My
handwriting and printing appearance has become much smoother and fluid in style,
and more artistically desirable. This pen has improved my writing more than
hours of practice. I still use my fountain pen and other gels and pens, but this
pen is the first I reach for, it's the bomb!
| Pen writes smoothly and...

Pen writes smoothly and glides across the paper. It releases a ridiculously
large amount of ink. It won't skip but unfortunately it doesn't dry quickly
either. Expect smudges on your paper and hands. Although it is a 0.7, it seems
to create an even thicker line than expected. It is short in length and has a
thin barrel. This aspect makes it ideal for smaller hands. I will definitely not
repurchase a Slicci in this point again. The 0.4 mm nib glides just as smoothly
on the paper without the smudges as it dries quicker than this one.
