Pentel Slicci Techo Mini Gel Ink Pen - 0.3 mm - Magenta Pink Body - Black Ink

I have both the Slicci and the Slicci Techo Mini. The plain Slicci gave me horrible results. The Techo Mini has been better, though. I really like the design; the metal housing, smooth action, and small size make this a great pen to store hidden away. I used it for a chemistry lab notebook and the small tip really helped me keep a clean record. I didn't use it for extended periods so the lack of a grip wasn't an issue, but if my hands were sweating at all the pen became more difficult to hold. Although I was able to deplete refills a few times there were a few that quit flowing prematurely, and skipping was always an issue. I haven't tried another pen with this kind of form factor so I can't recommend a competing model. I keep this as a mere backup because I'm not very satisfied with the refills and I don't need to have a pen this small. I've switched to the Uni-ball Signo 0.28, which hasn't had any problems with skipping or refills dying prematurely, though I haven't drained the core that it came with yet.

The ink flow and lines is incredibly smooth. I really enjoy its size and the quality. The only thing is the ink lasts 2 days worth of notes for me so it blows in that aspect. Currently trying to find out if a modified regular slicci .3 refill will fit this.

I LOVE this pen. It is small enough to put into my pocket and the smooth, fine writing lets me jot more things down onto business cards and the little reminder cards I always carry with me. I always have a pen at the ready with this one.

This pen is fantastic. Nice look, and I'd highly recommend it for anyone with very exacting writing. My only problem with it at all has to do with its size (which I shouldn't complain about -- I knew going in that it's tiny), but it has tiny refills and can get lost in a pocket. That being said, it's comfortable enough to write with all day long, and I haven't run it out of ink just yet. Great pen.
