The design on this is AMAZING! There is absolutly no sticking when switching colors and the insertion process is absolutly pain free since you only have to push a rod in rather than get the whole "clicker" aligned like other multi-pen barrels. The colors is very pretty and you can see how much ink you have left. Over-all really attractive and easy to use. Only thing is that the ink runs out like crazy but I don't know how that compares to the single color models. After using it for a few sets of notes, I'm down to half on my black ink!

It's okay, not too big and writes well, but the barrel broke after a week or so, the plastic seems too fragile.

The size of the pen is great and I love writing with it. It should include the rubber at the bottom for a better grip and make the grooves more defined. I'm ordering a second body because the the grooves where you screw the body together has become stripped.

If you like the way the Slicci pen writes, you will love this one. It is a little thicker making it more comfortable to write with, and you have 2 more colors at your disposal. What a great buy and absolutely fantastic service by Jet Pens staff.

Updating my previous review - the upper half of mine has become cracked right where the bottom screws in, so it won't hold tightly and instead comes unscrewed. The light plastic used for this isn't very durable, but you get what you pay for. I could have kept mine alive a while longer with tape and patience, but I'm trading up to the uniball style fit line instead - I prefer the flow and smooth feel of their gel inks. The feel of this pen is nice and light and it isn't clunky in a pencil bag, but it isn't too durable.
If you find yourself looking at the style fit line, the cartridges are compatible - you just have to use small pliers to pull out the plastic nibs at the top of the slicci cartridges and put them in the style fit ones, since the nibs on the slicci cartridges actually attach them to the pen body. The slicci cartridges work in style fit bodies once the plastic bit has been removed.

Great ink, great writing. But 2 out of 3 pen bodies I purchased cracked :( I'm treating the last one with kit gloves.

I gave the Coleto Hi-Tec-C 3 ink multi-pen slightly higher scores but this is a fantastic pen as well and is a little more aesthetically pleasing (to me) than the Coleto, although the writing experience isn't as nice given my personal writing style (the barrel is just a tad too slim). Highly recommended, especially if you like thinner barrels.

I am so pleased with my Slicci multi-pen. I loaded it with Coral Pink, Lime green and black 0.4 cartridges and they all wrote smoothly the second they touched the paper. I like the barrel on this pen -- it seems slimmer than the 3-color Hi-Tec-C although I do miss the softer rubber grip on the Hi-Tec-C. Its a bit of a challenge to see which color is pushed down without looking closely at the pen barrel but I agree it would probably be much more challenging with a colored barrel version.

All-in-all, I like using this much better than the super skinny, individual Sliccis though I do dream of a rubberized grip.

Really nice - feels just like writing with a regular Slicci but a little larger. Much more comfortable on my fingers than the Hi Tec C Coleto multi. The only negative is that the colors of each cartridge are not displayed as obviously as on the Hi Tec C. But they are still displayed so it doesn't even warrant a star being taken off for me. I will be getting more.

Wow. These multi-pens are the neatest thing ever.

This barrel is much more comfortable to write with versus the original Slicci barrel. That was way too thin.
Easy to install. Very smooth and snappy mechanism makes it a joy to switch to different colors.

Unfortunately, the 0.3mm Slicci refills write nothing like the original Slicci. The ink flow sputters constantly and is much more scratchy. Maybe the 0.4mm are better.

Fulfills its purpose very well. What surprised me is how light this thing is - fully loaded, it's a total featherweight. Even with three ink cartridges and all the mechanisms for them, it's about the weight of a disposable pen.

Amazing pen, writes smooth and is very compact. Great way to save on money compared to buying individual Sliccies pens.

I have used Slicci before and thought the pen is too thin and too light. This one is good size and it writes perfectly. A++.

I am thrilled with this pen. I can see the cartridge colors clearly (carrot orange, lime green, and blue black - my favorite combo, all in one pen!!), which is important, although I think that if you choose one of the colored pen shells, you'd end up in a little bit of trouble, as you can see the pen color through the pen body but there's no sample on the little push buttons at the top of the pen.

However, it's smooth sailing with the clear pen body, and I'm ecstatic to have a favorite color combination in a brilliantly uber fine point, with the smoothness of a slicci that is finally thick enough to write with and not get finger cramps!

These multi-pens are great because I like the sturdy tip offered by the Slicci's. I also have and use the Hi-Tec multi pen which is nice too. Though I have not yet gone through one of the cartridges, I imagine the ink will run dry just as fast as the Hi-Tecs do, one of the Hi-Tecs downfall. I also wish that the 3 cartridge body came in another color other than pink. Oh well. A sidenote: When installing the cartridges, push all the way down until you hear a click, if this is not done, the cartridges will jam.....and cause much frustration. I suppose if I could read Japanese the directions might have stated this. I just assumed they installed the same as the Hi-Tecs...well, almost. Otherwise, good product.

Warning: the standard Slicci guts will *NOT* fit in this pen. I bought red, black, and blue 0.25mm Slicci pens to strip for guts, thinking I could make the ultimate multi-pen. Nope. I guess only the "Sliccies" refills will work, not the "Slicci" refills. Beware!

It's a shame too, as I'm not really fond of the small diameter of the Slicci pen and had high hopes for the larger Sliccies. Oh well. Maybe I'll hang on to it and try it again if Sliccies refills are ever available in 0.25mm.
