I use these for refills for my Pilot Dr. Grip 4+1 4 Color 0.7 mm Ballpoint Multi Pen and turned it into a Gel pen. it writes better the the original

These refills are a big disappointment (Carrot Orange and Milk Blue). Especially after using the original Slicci 0.3.
I was expecting the same performance.

First, these refills are different than the ones found in the original Slicci barrel. The nib is shorter, smaller, and maybe even thinner. The tube itself is very skinny, not storing much ink. (These will not fit in the original Slicci barrel, in case you're wondering.)

On to performance. The ink flow is terrible. It gives out on almost every word. The pen needs to be held too perpendicular to get a consistent flow. Too uncomfortable for most, and even then, it sputters. I found myself augmenting my writing just to get it to stop skipping (severe angle, slowing down, writing smaller).
It puts down the same width of the original Slicci, but it is much more scratchy.

I love the idea of the customizable multi and these great colors, but these refills are terrible compared with the original Slicci.

This is a very nice color! It looks very nice wih the Golden Orange color; I love using them together.

This is a really nice color! It looks especially nice with the Milk Blue refill color. Really enjoy using.

So it turns out that I really like writing with this color. It definitely stands out, and it's not too light/pale that it's difficult to read. I've been using it in place of red for critiquing and small notes, and it really shines.

Writes well despite such a fine point. Doesn't skip. The color isn't nearly as light as it looks on the packaging - this is more of a standard light or sky blue.

Writes smoothly without skipping despite its fine point. The color of the ink is more of a bright, bold color than the packaging shows. More of a bold limey green (reminds me of a highlighter) than the softer pastel-like color of the packaging.

love these. can change colors when ever. i like that you can get anywhere from .28 to .5 i personally love the super fine points

Nice color and the ink writes smoothly. Lots of fun to write with! Easy to read as well.

PERFECT! Since this is my everyday pen, I foresee buying a LOT! Great tip, writes smooth, just PERFECT!

Great vibrant PURE pink color! Don't be fooled by the "baby" it's not as light as you would think but not as dark as say a pink pilot G2, just a normal PINK. Works amazing, tip is great, consistent OH-SO-SMOOTH line every time. Only caution is to stock up because you're sure to use this a lot and need to buy more!

Perfect colour for writing ! Unfortunately the ink runs out very quickly :-/
