DescriptionSpecificationsFrequently Asked Questions
Asia's long history of chinese calligraphy and drawing make it a great source for quality brush pens.  These brush pens from Pentel feature nylon brush tips and are filled with aqueous dye-based inks that are great  for painting or sketching on the go.  Flexible nibs allow varying line widths and are easily refilled with black or gray color cartridges.

The Pentel Standard Brushes differ according to the denseness of the brush tips. For example, the Tsumi tip is more densely packed than Suki tip (meaning it has more hair). If we rank the tips in terms of thickness, they would be: Medium > Tsumi > Suki > Super Fine.

I highly recommend this pen to anyone that is interested in drawing in a new way!

I bought this brush pen for my fiance ( he loves to draw). The instant he started using this pen, he is was IN LOVE. I couldn't pry the pen out of his hand to try it myself! My fiance has all the different Pentel Standard Brush Pens, along with enough refills to last. He is still on the first pen reservoir - he's had this pen for a few months already.

I absolutely love this brush pen! The ink is really nice, and I found it doesn't really bleed through any of the paper I planned to use it on. It flows nicely and I haven't had any problems with it being messy. Just using it for the short time I've had it has made me fall in love with brush pens!!
