Pentel Stein Enhanced Silica Pencil Lead - 0.5 mm - HB Hard

Another vote for using this in your Kuru Toga pencil. I've never had it break, it lasts a long time, it is smooth to write with and does not smear. I've tried using other lead since trying this and nothing compares so far.

I agree with the previous user that this lead is wonderful for the Kuru Toga pencils. I like this lead a lot more than the 4B lead.

I will second the notion that this lead is excellent for the kuru toga. I've been searching for a lead better suited for the kuru, and the Stein HB Hard lasts the longest and writes the smoothest. You can't go wrong with the Uni Nano Dia, but this is better.

I have an unfortunate habit of breaking lead since I tend to get nervous. This lead holds up to it well and works wonders in my kuru toga pencil. I love the color and design of the case too. It's very well worth it, especially if you smudge writing, dislike grey clouds on notebook paper or break lead tips like me.
