These Pentel Sunburst pens come in the same great barrels as the standard RSVP pen. The product description says it writes in 0.4 mm lines, but it feels more like 0.7 mm pen. We use these to mark...

We use these to mark and identify black rubber samples used in our production of rubber products. The gel from these pens actually sticks to the slick rubber, and doesnt skip, or fade after marking. We have tried several brands and types, and these work the best in our process.

Not metallic, not shiny,...

Not metallic, not shiny, not sparkly, and not reflective enough to be called "metallic."
It's like a pale grayish white, not silver...even less reflective than #2 pencil lead!
At some angles, the silver ink actually disappears on white paper. Shows up better on black paper but still, its not metallic, not silver... :( I really wanted to like the Sunburst pens!!!
The pen itself is comfortable to hold, and writes well on dark paper: but those are the *only* reasons I'm not throwing it away!

This pen was a disappointment....

This pen was a disappointment. It is not silver, really, but a medium metallic gray. It's line is very fine, so that also makes it less metallic looking. On dark paper it shows as darker gray. Lines show through, so not much hiding power.

It might serve for coloring in cars, but I can't thiik of anything else it would be good for.
