I selected this pen because of the iridium tip which is for smoother writing. I have been satisfied with the smoothness I can get, and the speed with which I can write. A minor gripe is that the ink that was in it was a faint blue and it looked weak on paper. I am sure that with other darker inks it will be fine. I feel that I got my money's worth with this pen.

One of the worst fountain pens I've ever used. I've purchased chinese pens on Ebay for $3 that are better writers. Cheap, light plastic body with a nib that feels like you're writing with a railroad spike. Do not waste your money on this... Jetpens has so many better options in this price range.
