Pretty good pen. Although the finish looks delicate, I quickly found out that it is surprisingly durable. The inside of the pen cap is not up-to-par with the body of the rest of the pen. It is quite light. The grip is mediocre. Writes well, and looks great though.

Being a huge fan of the EnerGel ink, I wanted a refillable pen option. This pen is very lightweight which isn't bad but I do prefer a weightier feel. The thing is, the body has such a nice shape I can't help but keep coming back to it...

However, I'd like to show a comparison of this to the disposable needle point EnerGel pens:

Tradio Combo:
matte finish
light weight
smooth plastic grip
plastic clip

Disposable:
shiny finish
solid feel (may or may not actually be heavier)
RUBBER grip (much more comfortable)
metal clip

For a $1.50 disposable pen, it's only .25 more than the tradio combo refill and extremely comfortable. And yet, I still constantly use the tradio - the shape of the body is a real pleasure so take that as you will.

I guess I expected more from an $8.50 pen, particularly since it has blemishes such as the spotty dye job inside the pen cap (outside looks great though) and the hole or puncture on the bottom of the pen.

With all that said, I don't regret the purchase and will probably continue to refill it.
I wish there were a metal version of this pen with a rubber grip - it would be AMAZING.

I really love this pen! It writes smoothly, feels great in my hand, and looks amazing. I have already had several people try to steal it from me.

We learned that the spring in the body CAN be removed by hitting the body lightly against your hand until the spring falls out, thereby allowing you to use the standard Tradio refill.

pros:
light weight
nice finish
writes smooth

cons:
the grip is not grippy, it's smooth plastic
was hoping there'd be more threads for twisting.
doesn't take standard tradio/pulaman refills
