This is a great little pencil. I got it for the eraser and for drawing with it. I found that I don't care for drawing with it, personal preference nothing more. The lead is really smooth. The eraser works great, nice and big, doesn't sink down when you use it like another similar pencil I have. The grip isn't my favorite, it's kind of the type of grip that tends to pick up dirt and hold onto it. This has now been stuffed in my music folder and it is very happy there.

I've used the Twist-Erase for all my pencil needs since I was 12 or 13. I'm 36 now, so it's been a good mechanical pencil for a long time. This version has the same nice big eraser and easy to use shape. I'm no longer in school, so I haven't experimented with exactly how much lead you can stuff in the poor thing, but the early versions held up fine to all day standardized tests with one pencil. If you feel paranoid, maybe bring along a packet of spare erasers and a fresh tube of lead. The only reason to bring a second one to an all day test is if you aren't positive you've got the hang of starting a new lead under time pressure.

These are really good if you're prone to losing separate erasers, because the eraser is so big and so easy to replace and so good at erasing.

It works. The pro is that this system allows you to have a lot of eraser at the back of the pencil. The cons of this pencil are the not-so-soft grip and the stiff clip. Not an outstanding pencil but not likely to disappoint either.

This pencil never leaves my side. It's very comfortable and does not stress my hands when I used it; which is primarily to sketch.
