Does anyone know if this ink is NON-Repro or NON-COPY?

This pen writes very boldly and smoothly, but it globs too easily. Also, when I use it to write notes on adding machine tape, the ink bleeds a little bit, so that the ink becomes slightly "blurred" after a day. On regular paper it doesn't do that, though. I prefer the Pilot Acroball; it's almost as bold, writes even more smoothly, and doesn't glob.

The body is nothing special, neither bad nor good. However the ink is a winner. It's the smoothest "ballpoint" I've ever used. Writes as consistently and smoothly as a gel ink pen. Thin crisp lines, no smudging or smearing. I'm totally sold.

I have to agree that the body isn't anything special. The color is nice, but nothing to write home about. The ink, however, is rather lovely. The black ink is dark like a gel and doesn't smear. I work as a nurse, so not smearing matters. I've gotten more than one coveting look after they tried it and found how smooth it writes and how nice the ink was. Most assuredly a keeper!

Wow! This is a ballpoint pen? It writes so smoothly, you wouldn't believe it! I have never had a ballpoint pen that writes so smoothly. I didn't have an issue with any smudging of ink, either. I highly recommend this pen--you will be pleasantly surprised. The design of the pen itself is not too sleek, but for the price and the amazing way it writes, I could care less how it looks.

A guy that I work with bought some of these pens, and insisted we test them. THEY ARE AMAZING! We write a lot of logs, and these pens both write smoothly and will not smear if logs get wet. There is now a competition in our workplace to see who can steal these pens. Absolutely Love.

These pens write really smoothly and the ink is very dark. I think the pen body is really well made for this price point also. The downside? Glob blob glob. The ink blobs up really easily compared to Uni's Jetstream ink refills which are similarly smooth and dark but do not blob at all.

The pen ink is really good. The ink doesn't smear or smudge and my sister, who is a nurse, loves it! Well worth it.

This is the only ballpoint pen that can compete with the Jetstream, if not on looks then at least on writing ability. The ink is incredibly smooth and dark, about equal to the Jetstream which, if you know that pen, you know the quality of the ink that Pentel is up against. That being said, they've done a great job in formulating a smooth-writing ballpoint that can compete against Uni-Ball's Jetstream.

However, the pen does feel fairly cheap and the aesthetics are not that great. The grip is also kind of annoying that way it tapers and the way the ridges are part of the plastic casing itself. Nevertheless, it's a very smooth pen so kudos to Pentel for making a great ballpoint that can meet, although not surpass, the Jetstream.

Wow! For an inexpensive pen that is also a ballpoint this one writes great! I think I may have to order a few more colors to keep it company. If you are looking for an everyday pen that might grow legs and walk off this is the one to use.

These pens are really nice to use, though they do feel a little cheap and don't have a whole lot of weight to them. The ink flows smoothly, doesn't bleed, dries fast and has yet to skip on me.

I love the purple ink. It's such a vibrant color and it writes so smoothly. I am definitely going to buy the other colors!

this pen is very smooth but is blotches after continual use.

I ordered this pen just because it was a new item and it's description said it was "super smooth". The description was spot on...this pen is wonderfully smooth writing with dark ink. I really like using the pen. In fact, I've ordered a couple of other colors and several refills.

Great ballpoint pen for the $. I am not a fan of most Jetstream pens but my favorite ballpoint pen is the rubber body Jetstream. I would rank this pen in the same class as that pen this is how impressed I was with the Vicuna. I now own all of the colors that come with black ink and 2 in a couple colors. I have never had the ink problem as a previous reviewer mentioned. It is my experience if there are a few great review then most likely it was a defective product that the one bad reviewer happened to get (on a creditable site like Jetpens), I assume that is the issue with their pen they returned. As the description of this product states it is a very smooth pen and the ink is nice and dark (for a ballpoint pen). I would bet there is not any other pens for the $ that can compete with this great product.

I've bought a few more (different colored bodies), and a few extra ink refills. I love the feel of the pen in my hand (I have small hands) - very ergonomic

The writing may be smooth, but it is also messy. The ink bleeds in little "globs" when you are writing. You get little dots of ink throughout your sentences. And if you happen to rub your hand across the ink - forget it! I was so disappointed with this pen, I sent it back for a refund. I love Jet Pens and out of the hundreds of orders I have placed, this is the first pen I've sent back. :o(

Oops, correction on my last review. You can refill it. You just need to unscrew from the top.

Smoother writer. Barrel is closer to a purple than a blue. I think it's not as smooth as Surari but the ink it lays down is crispy and the writing is smooth. I don't like all the detailing on the barrel though. There's this marbling pattern and the seams make it look cheap. It's also not refillable; at least I couldn't find a way to unscrew it.

This is a pen that very well may give the Uniball Jetstream a run for it's money! The jetstream has long been my favorite pen, but this one ranks right up there and might even be a bit higher. This pen just writes SOOOO smoothly, and is very comfortable to hold. It is sharp in the looks department too! I hope these become available in more ink colors and maybe in a 0.5 mm tip as well. Seeing them available in the US would be nice, but that probably won't happen. I want to move to Japan. :)

A fantastic all-around ballpoint pen. Although I usually use an off-brand Bangla 0.5mm black ballpoint, a friend persuaded to me to buy the Vicuna. It has the smoothest glide and ink flow of any ballpoint I've ever used and it's less likely to smudge than any of my other pens. The grip is an odd size for me, but not worth an actual complaint. Absolutely worth a try.

This pen is AWESOME! I love it because it writes INSANELY smoothly, and it's great for writing notes quickly and neatly in class! I would definitely recommend this pen! It's great! I will definitely be buying more ^__^
