I cannot stop shaking. Why is this so amusing? I do not know, it's just cool. I also really like the rubber grip for all that math homework. The purple color is a little lighter than what's shown in the picture but it is purple.

It works! It works! And it makes me giggle every time it advances the lead for me. It's a solid pencil and I really love it, and it's just a personal preference that makes me give it only four stars 'cause I hate covered erasers. The cover is just one more thing for me to lose. But the grip is nice, the pencil itself is solid, and what's not to love about it being able to advance with a shake?

I got this pencil from my gf and it is freaking awesome. She was complaining about how cruddy my handwriting was from using those fat dr.grip mechanical pencils so she gave this to me and I have been using it ever since. It is pure awesomeness :D

I like the way the pencil is compatible for those of you who are in high school and your teachers speak very fast in the way you could just shake it. The grip is still okay, but if you push too hard on it, you could get the imprint on your fingers. :P Overall, the pencil itself is OK, the grip is kinda annoying still.

The Pilot Super Grip 2020 is one of my favorite mechanical pencils. This pencil is well balanced and writes well. Its grip is really great, and it allows you to write for a good amount of time. I must say though, if you use it for too long, depending on how you hold the pencil, your fingers may get worn out. The shaking mechanism is very unique, but I fell that it makes the inside of the front of the pencil more dirty, due to loose graphite particles. Its still fun to use though.

This is a good pencil, however, it gets three stars for a reason somewhat substantial to me. I cannot seem to write comfortably with this pencil. Some pencils lend themselves to good handwriting, but not matter the type of grip with this pencil it will not work comfortably with my hand. Now for reference, I'm a 280 lb. tall guy with big hands, and being that I own a lot of mechanical pencils I'm very picky.

Besides my ergonomic issues though, the pencil functions flawlessly. The shaker mechanism works reliably and you don't have to give it shaken baby syndrome for it to work. Unfortunately, the ergo issues are enough for me to never use this pencil.

Got this as a gift.

At first i had a hard time taking the cap off. The plastic blue part on the cap came off and went back on fairly easy so i didnt break it, whew. But it took me a while to get it off so i could refill the lead. The shaker okay but i prefer the dr. grip shakers, they use less effort to shake. The grip is rubber but its still hard, not as soft as the dr. grips. its an okay pencil but isnt comfortable for me to write with for long periods.

_3_3_3 this pencil rocks!!!! I hate those mechanical pencils with fat grips. They slow you down a LOT.

I first used this pencil a couple of years ago when my uncle gave me one from Japan. I liked the pencil instantly and was afraid to use it at school because I was scared of losing it. I think this pencil is best suited for people who like thin mechanical pencils and do not need a cushy grip. While the grip is not the best ever made, it is comfortable enough and can be used for extensive periods of time. I personally like the spring near the eraser of the pencil because it feels like it gives a powerful push to the lead every single time its pushed down on. And this was before I found out what the spring in the middle of the pencil was for! The shaking ability made possible by that middle spring comes in handy especially when you're busy jotting down thoughts and are too busy to reposition your hand to advance the lead.

This pencil is very good, but there is not much to say about it. It's a shaker pencil, has a rubber grip (not so special), and writes smoothly. I think this color is the best out of all. The pencil also writes very smoothly. The price is decent, so that is why I recommend this pencil.

Found this pencil laying around my house one day from a gift I received a while ago, and decided to try it out. Its not bad, but compared to many of the higher end class of pencils I would, its pretty average. The grip feels quite slippery, and since I'm used to writing at the very bottom of the pencil, near the lead almost, the grip seemed a bit useless. As I mentioned before, it was very slippery, and hard to write with as a result. Perhaps that was just my palm sweat building up over time, but it still was very difficult to use. When you use the eraser too much, it gets jammed, and the only way to put in lead is to screw the cap off, and put it in the tube that it normally gets put in. A little time consuming, but at least it works. For 3 bucks not a bad deal, and it won't really jam, but still not the greatest.

Great pencil and lasts for a long time. I've had mine for almost three years and it still hasn't broke yet. This color is actually a bit darker then in the picture.
The only thing I don't like about it is whenever I move the pencil, it would make noise. __

This pencil is okay overall. It is a shaky and thats about the only good thing about it. It has a grip, but it is not squishy like the agel. Also, I can trick my friends into thinking that this is a red pen.

This is a really comfortable pencil to write with. I love the shaker mechanism. It gives out just the correct amount of lead. It's also nice that the point retracts back into the pencil when not in use. I use this pencil with the Ain HB lead and couldn't have asked for a better combination.

It's a shame these ended up in the close-outs. =(

I normally go with either pink or baby blue pencil but this one stood out to me and I'm really glade I got it. I love the shaking mechanism it's very easy to get the lead out. I bought a pilot shake for 6.99 at the store and the shaking on it doesn't even compare to this one and it was sooo cheap which is awesome. I also enjoy the yellow its a very pleasant color.

It looks like a boring pencil and it is not as cool looking like other pencils... however this pencil is a wonder! It writes really nicely and works perfectly -- the shaker and pushing the button both work. There is no problem with this pencil at all -- don't judge it by how it looks!

Also, the fact that it is only $3 is just amazing in comparison to other pencils :)
A lot of people at school judge this pencil and think it is really dull but it is really good -- and they are missing out on it.

i really like this pencil
of course it doesn't 'wow' you like a $9 pencil would, but at $3 this fulfills my needs
if you care for the color, it isn't as bright as it seems
its a pastel green rather than a brigh highliter one

a little darker in person but it's nice!
although.. the weight is seriously ugly lol
but it works perfectly!

I work in a school and the kids went crazy for this pencil! I love it but WARNING! Don't use it around little kids because you might get tricked into buying them some!

i use to own this pencil three years back but it wan thrown down but later i bought one at the bookstore and later ababdon it so , i uesd to like shaker pencils as it has the awsome features.....

this pencil look so nice it so smooth and it work so well. sometime i get so scared using it becuz i mite misplace or lose it.
