This pencil is really good, especially for its price. Since I had never tried a
0.3 mm pencil before and wasn't sure if I would like it, I got this one because
it was inexpensive. And I love it! The pencil has a really nice click to it and
its very comfortable to hold. It writes really smooth, much better than some
more expensive pencils I have. Now 0.3 mm pencils are the only ones I use!

It is exactly what I was expecting and what I wanted! The pencil has a good
weight to it with a very fine and steady point. Also it's barrel is soft and
cushioned~ I couldn't ask for anything more~ ^u^

April 26, 2009
I bought my first AirBlanc in Japantown, San Francisco. When I went back for
more, they were sold out. A few months later JetPens began carrying them. I
immediately bought 6 more. As a geologist, I do a lot of field mapping and I
love using 0.3mm lead on my maps. With the cost of most 0.3mm pencils, I was
afraid of losing them in the field, which happens A LOT! With the colors
available and the price, I don't worry about this any more.

I have to admit I was a little skeptical about the whole, hand cooling system.
BUT I was amazed to find that it actually was true! My fingers tips always get
this warm, uncomfortable sensation when I'm drawing, and the main reason I
bought this pencil was because of it's price, and the small 0.3mm lead. But with
this little cutie wasn't getting the warmth anymore. The colors are beautiful
pastels, and are at the small length of almost 5 1/2 inches. Which in my opinion
is very cute for a pencil. It's also thin, and the grip isn't to cushy, but it
is very smooth. I absolutely adore this product, and would recommend it to
anyone! The only problem I can see with this pencil is that the eraser runs down
rather quickly. But that's basically with any mechanical pencil...

First of all I would like to say that pilot did a really good job with this
pencil. I practically use it everyday now. The price is great for a 0.3 pencil.
The only reason i gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the grip attracts a lot
of lint and dirt. I can't stand that, so I find my self rubbing it off the grip
every couple of minutes.

Pilot AirBlanc Mechanical Pencil - 0.3 mm - White
I bought the white one because I like the color and the other colors are too
feminine for my taste. For my money (very little of it) this is an excellent
pencil. I own a bunch of more expensive pencils (like a staedtler 925-35, ohto
promecha, uni shift, a few pentels, a platinum, etc. {yes i'm a geek}) (I had a
Smash but lost it :(... ) and I strangely find myself constantly reaching for
this one. The grip is great but what I really like is the weight and feel. It's
cheap enough where I don't worry bout breaking or losing it and yet it looks
simple and cool enough to enjoy its looks while I use it. Not everybody likes a
heavy pencil, although I do enjoy them on occasion, what I like is a pencil that
I can forget about as I draw but still appreciate as I don't. I wish I could
describe more accurately why I like it so much but I'm not sure I even know. For
me, this doesn't take away from my enjoyment but adds to it. This pencil blows
all other pencils in it's price range ($3!) into oblivion.

Pilot AirBlanc Mechanical Pencil - 0.3 mm - Orange
i love this pencil! it has a comfortable grip that always keeps my hand cool,
even when im writing up those tedious LA assignments or taking those stressful
algebra tests. i got one for me and my friend and its an amazing pencil,
especially for the price. the lead rarely snaps, and the metal tip (which isnt
common for $3 pencils) keeps the writing stable and smooth.

Pilot AirBlanc Mechanical Pencil - 0.3 mm - Pink
I bought this over 6 months ago. What can I say. I am completely thrilled to
have bought it! Its surprisingly sturdy for a little pencil and the lead doesnt
break all that easily unless you are writing too hard with it. Personally, I
enjoy drawing with it, because I loooove the thin lines. The only thing I dont
like about it, is the erasers area. You get this good at least an inch worth of
eraser however you can only use about 1/3 of that because the rest is IN the
pencil hidden away until the part you can use is gone.
Other than that, I love it. Its good to have a kneaded eraser with you when
using this product _3

Pilot AirBlanc Mechanical Pencil - 0.3 mm - Pink
This pencil is so good. I love doing math and science with it because it's lines
are so clean and thin and make it easy for me to think on paper. Get this
pencil! My hands sont feel icky and sweaty after I write with it a lot and the
grip is comfortable. I'm really picky with my pencil grips because I grip my
pencil really low, but this pencil was fine. Buy it!

For a $3.00 mechanical pencil, this thing is simply awesome. Given it's low
price tag, I don't see a good reason for anyone not to order this thing, even if
it's just for novelty. It even looks awesome. Excellent value for money.

Pilot AirBlanc Mechanical Pencil - 0.3 mm - White
I use hard lead and write soft, even so, sometimes the lead still snaps. The
only problem I've experienced is that the silver part will become loose after a
little while. Twisting it back on fixes the problem, but I know when to do it
because the change in control is noticeable. Also, when I click the lead down,
it doesn't always stay, sometimes it goes back up the barrel and getting lead to
come out for a new piece takes at least 10 clicks. When it's working well and
while writing it's totally comfortable though. It's definitely worth the 3
bucks, but not much more.

Very nice mechanical pencil! I have a sort of death grip on my pencils, yet the
lead hasn't broken, no matter what type I use! The air conditioning in the grip
does work, although I haven't really thoroughly tested it out. I really like the
lightness of the pencil (small hands) and I was surprised to find the tip was
actually metal. Good, inexpensive pencil. The 0.3 mm lead lets me cram lots of
notes and not waste paper.

troublesome. I find the lead easier to break when writing, would recommend this

I have the pink one, and now I am shopping for more! It really motivates me to
write thin lines, with a loose grip to prevent a callus building on my finger.
As an added benefit, I am able to write clearly and in a more organized manner.
I highly highly recommend it !

Pilot AirBlanc Mechanical Pencil - 0.3 mm - Violet
Air-filled grip works great at keeping my finger tips cool. It's firm, but not
hand fatiguing firm.
Looks cute. That's a plus, right?
Feels like I need to rotate the pencil more often. Probably due to the .3mm
lead.
Almost writes too smooth on Clairefontaine paper. I like a little friction when
writing with mechanical pencils, especially when solving math problems.
