Japan, a nation of thin pens, is also a nation of thin mechanical pencils!

Check out these colorful and affordable 0.3 mm mechanical pencils from Pilot. The pencil is designed so that a layer of air is maintained between the outer grip of this pencil and the inner plastic body. If you look closely at the grip of the pencil, you’ll notice multiple grooves that maximize air space. The result is a heat dissipating effect that will keep your hands cool through hours of handwriting. You never knew you had that problem huh? Well you do and now it’s solved! Green, orange, pink, soft blue, violet and white body colors plus eraser refills are available. They are perfect for use at school and work.

I bought this over 6 months ago. What can I say. I am completely thrilled to have bought it! Its surprisingly sturdy for a little pencil and the lead doesnt break all that easily unless you are writing too hard with it. Personally, I enjoy drawing with it, because I loooove the thin lines. The only thing I dont like about it, is the erasers area. You get this good at least an inch worth of eraser however you can only use about 1/3 of that because the rest is IN the pencil hidden away until the part you can use is gone.

Other than that, I love it. Its good to have a kneaded eraser with you when using this product _3

This pencil is so good. I love doing math and science with it because it's lines are so clean and thin and make it easy for me to think on paper. Get this pencil! My hands sont feel icky and sweaty after I write with it a lot and the grip is comfortable. I'm really picky with my pencil grips because I grip my pencil really low, but this pencil was fine. Buy it!

This pencil is super pretty and the cushion idea is really neat, but I want to reiterate that it is VERY small and VERY light! I gave up on it after a while due to post-sketching hand strain. If you consider your hands average to large in size, be warned!

I absolutely adore this pencil! I was a bit iffy on buying it at first, because I prefer thick or heavier pencils. But this one has a nice balanced weight and writes so smoothly. I've had it for a few days now and there's been no lead breakage. Which is surprising for such a thin and delicate lead. All around this pencil is great, writes beautifully, and feels nice. I use it to sketch/draw.
