Nib is VERY fine. Seems to work well with convertor and Private Reverve ink. Seems to be getting better/smoother each time I use it. Really good on Rhodia when I want to write reaaly small.

I use this pen for ink drawings and believe it enhances my drawing ability and creativity. Such a fine instrument for such a low price.

Seriously fine nib, although it doesn't show an exact size. I don't have any fountain or dip pen that puts down a finer line. Given that, it's not scratchy, just more feedback than a broader nib.

It will indeed fit in the Platinum desk pen holder. I actually have a Platinum double holder meant for red and black pens; I put this one on the red side and a black Pilot desk pen on the other. They don't dry out in the holder, but of course I'm saving the caps just in case. Also, since it's nib down in a pen holder, it's good that neither pen shows any tendency to leak ink out the nib in that position.

This red pen came with a black ink cartridge, but I filled an empty Pilot cartridge with Diamine Syrah instead. I'm sure it will work fine with a converter if I want to do that later.

My favorite. It's funny because this is not my most expensive but I love it. I love extra fine pens because I write really small. Anyway. I live this pen.
