0.7 mm black ballpoint ink pen.

This ballpoint pen from Pilot boasts smooth writing at all angles! This means that you can write upside down, or at any angle with this pen and still get a consistent ink flow. This pen can also be used to write on wet surfaces! The top knock button pressurizes the air near the end of the ink tube, for smooth ink flow during writing at even the trickiest of angles. Pressing the top button will also expose the pen tip, and pushing the top of the side clip will retract it. The plastic clip also features a sturdy metal spring that allows you to clip the pen on to thicker objects such as binders. Refills with Pilot Dr. Grip Ballpoint Multi Pen Refills.

Pen dimensions: Approximately 5.7 inches (14.5 cm) long and 0.5 inches (13 mm) in diameter.

It's a good looking pen, but for an extra cost I'd go for the rubberized-barreled, metal-clipped, slightly shorter Tombow AirPress.

+ Looks very cool
+ Clips to big stuff
+ Interesting technology and good performance
+ Clip as knock release is fun

- Doesn't feel terribly substantial
- Big plastic clip looks a bit brittle
- The clicks -- particularly the "un-click" -- are quite loud

I use this pen at work as a nurse. It is great- easy to clip on my scrub collar, it writes at every angle so I can label things with ease. With options for bright colors I never loose site of it or run the risk of having a coworker snatch it up! I highly recommend this pen for a nurse in the clinical setting.

I'm not really digging this pen. I like the function and way the pen itself writes but overall it feels kind of clunky and weird in my hand. I've got rather large hands that are pretty roughed up from the work that I do. I like a finer pen, much like my sailor fountain pen. I use this pen as my clipboard pen and it hangs on really well. For the most part this pen is really a good pen, it just really doesn's suit my personal feel or style of writing. The reason for the three stars versus a five star rating is merely my preference, it is not really related to the function or overall performance of the pen. For those characteristics I would definitely give it a 5 star rating.

Writes great! Although not too smooth, but most satisfying click and cool cap hanger clip thing (pardon moi for bad lingo). It writes fine in water. I really like it. Only regret is not choosing a different color! Not that the color is ugly or doesn't look like the picture, it's just that I'm not a real sinker for black and lime-ish yellow, I'm a girl.

Writes smooth on most surfaces in any position. Large durable clip with lanyard hole. Works well with gloves. The only pen I have tried that the clip works well one handed. Refills reasonably priced. Some may not like the loud clicks in a stealth situation. A bit tricky but can be "clicked" and "unclicked" one handed nearly silent if needed. My all time favorite EDC pen!
