0.7 mm black ballpoint ink pen.

This ballpoint pen from Pilot boasts smooth writing at all angles! This means that you can write upside down, or at any angle with this pen and still get a consistent ink flow. This pen can also be used to write on wet surfaces! The top knock button pressurizes the air near the end of the ink tube, for smooth ink flow during writing at even the trickiest of angles. Pressing the top button will also expose the pen tip, and pushing the top of the side clip will retract it. The plastic clip also features a sturdy metal spring that allows you to clip the pen on to thicker objects such as binders. Refills with Pilot Dr. Grip Ballpoint Multi Pen Refills.

Pen dimensions: Approximately 5.7 inches (14.5 cm) long and 0.5 inches (13 mm) in diameter.

Pen body is nice- it's solid, hard plastic, which is not normally great for lots of writing, but it's somehow very satisfying in the hand for it. A good diameter for my hand I suppose. If you grip your pen very hard, though, the textured grip and hardness might be unpleasant. This is where the less-than-impressive ink cartridge factors in. It's only mediocre, run-of-the-mill typical bad ballpoint. I rarely like to use ballpoints, much preferring the smoother new jetstream/acroball/surari. The good news is this pen body can take the thinner refills of that type- other colors' reviews mention some; the surari multipen refills also work. So if you like the colors and a hard chunk of plastic holds appeal (it should!) give this a try but get different refills. (By the way, the end is gray, not white as it may appear on some monitors, which I am glad of.)

Me again- as you can read in my previous review for this pen, I really liked it. But it broke for no good reason! The barrel cracked irreparably under conditions that were not especially rough and didn't destroy any of the other pens I was carrying with this one, so I am very disappointed. I considered buying another to replace it, but since I don't know what the problem was the first time I have no reason to think it wasn't simply a poor/weak pen. Too bad.

Bought this as a gift for my dad who needs a slim pen with no rubbery grip to slip in his front pocket for service calls. The ink flow is incredibly versatile [can even write upside down!] and the bright color is a plus.

I really like this pen. It's light-weight and the ink flows very well. It's also a good size to avoid fatigue when you're writing a lot.
