This multi pen combines the legendary comfort and quality of Pilot's Dr. Grip line with its low-viscosity Acro ink, which combines the smoothness and vibrancy of a gel pen with the water resistance and fast drying time of a ballpoint. A blend of ink and lubricants ensures that the ball at the pen tip rotates smoothly, creating a gliding, no-skip writing experience. The pen's wide body and comfortable rubber grip are designed to provide a tireless writing experience. The barrel has an attractive, high-quality metallic finish and a pearly white grip. This multi pen conveniently features black, blue, green, and red inks, plus a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil. A refillable eraser is discretely located under the cap.

To extend the pencil component, slide the clip of the pen down. While the pencil is extended, pressing down the clip further will advance the lead.

This is definitely one...

This is definitely one of my go to pens at the moment (became obsessed with multi-pens). The Dr.Grip feel is comfortable and I don't find my hand becoming tired like other pens. This pen is however, a little on the heavier side, not only because of the components of the pen, but the material itself (compared to the Pilot 4-color Frixion multi-pen; plastic). The mechanical pencil aspect of the pencil works very well (once I learned how to advance the lead; push down the clip more than where it sits naturally when the tip is out, and this advances the lead for you). The refills, as with most multi-pens do run out pretty quickly, but the refills for this pen are a tad longer than its partner multi-pens in the pilot brand, lasting a little longer than those.

It's alright but not like I expected. The pencil button keeps going back up, I had the older one I guess and I never had a problem with that one, it was the 3+1 with the pencil but the pencil had a button it was not like this one the button for the pencil is the clip. And it keeps sliding back up.

Best pen ever! I also own a Uni-Jetstream 4&1 & a Pilot 4+1 light & both those are good pens but this Pilot Dr. Grip 4+1 is by far the best. I love the body of it, as it's not to heavy but heavy enough at the same time. The design is polished for a more professional appeal and the ink is rich in color.
