Dubbed Skytime due to its unique ribbed grip, the grooves in the grip stripes allow more air into the grip to keep it cool (heat conduction) and soft. It is inspired by the "soft white clouds floating in the sky". Body colors reflect different times of day. How fun.

The pen is also customizable! This special Dr. Grip features a plastic insert that can be removed from the pen body, decorated, and reinserted to make your very own personalized pen. It's a very innovative way to customize pens in low quantities, making them perfect gifts for baby showers, office parties, and more. One plastic insert included inside each pen. Deco pencils also available.

This is my favorite pen....

This is my favorite pen. The ink doesn't skip, it writes smoothly and neatly, and it starts writing right when you put its tip to the paper. Almost every other pen I've used (besides the Pentel R.S.V.P. pens) requires you to scribble on some scrap paper before writing in order to get the ink flowing. Not this pen!

These pens are great. I have all four of them and in my Dr. Grip collection I have a total of 13 in different styles and colors. I write alot in patient charts while at work and these make the job alot easier, they also coordinate beautifully with my scrubs, LOL! Bottom line you can't go wrong, they are very smooth to write with and the ink is very dark almost like a roller ball. Enjoy.

These are the best pens...
March 26, 2014
These are the best pens that I have. I bought some from Sanrio that are character branded and loved them so much, but I didn't want them to disappear at work, so I bought 2 of these from this site and TONS of refills. I've already gone through 1 full cartridge of ink from daily use at work, but it does take a LONG time for the ink to run out and I do a lot of note taking, calculations, scribbling/scratching out, and doodling (during boring meetings... ha ha). What's better is to combine with high quality Kokuyo paper. Writing becomes smooth as silk with no friction and no skipping. You will not be disappointed.

No clip!

I didn't notice from the pictures that it has no clip. Instead, it has an eyelet, an oval about 2 x 5 mm. I suppose you could put it on a lanyard, but this is a clicky pen. Most lanyard pens hook up at the removable top. At least it is enough to keep the pen from rolling far.

The ink and writing feel is about average. All these different colored pens come with black in a short, fat refill.

I don't think I'll use it much.
